Log; White Wonderland; OPEN
Who; Haruka (
kazeno_youni) and anyone who comes by [OPEN]
What; Having lunch during her break on the job when she notices a rain of Irises from above.
When; Sunday at noon (5/31)
Where; By the fountain in the Square
Rating; PG (though depends who shows up?)
Sitting by the fountains where she had first arrived, Haruka deeply sighed as she took a bite of her sandwich. She often came here of all places during her lunch breaks. The area was pretty quiet and she enjoyed watching the gentle breeze playing with the water of the fountain, causing small ripples to appear. It had also been the place she was able to see Michiru again after that incident at the Cathedral. Haruka was relieved to know she was still alive and assumed her safe return back to their world. But it didn't change the fact that she simply... missed her dearly. Her partner, friend, someone who truly understood her without an exchange of words. Her eyes saddened to the thought as she blankly stared at the water, occasionally running a finger or two in it. Making a firm fist with her wet hand, she tensed her brows and shut her eyes as she scolded herself for being so weak. Right now, she had to focus on doing all she could to get back to her own world and not mope.
That was when she felt something on her head. Quickly re-opening her eyes, she felt for what it was and found a white petal. Looking up into the sky, her eyes widened to what she saw. White flowers, Irises, falling from the sky. Her expression softened as she watched, mesmerized by the blanket of white that filled the area. Michiru... Was this a gift from you?
[ooc: Please note she's wearing her police uniform and looks like a guy. ->W<-;; Thanks!]

He was interrupted from his little self-motivation session by a light touch on his head. That made him look up, and in doing so, he realized that it was raining... petals?
He reached to catch one in between his fingers, and as he brought it closer to studied it, he was immediately reminded of Marta. Marta did always have those flowers in her hair-- He still remembered asking about whether they were real or not.
"I wonder where these came from?" he thought out loud.

She looked down at her food smothered in flowers and began to slowly pick them out. Haruka slyly glanced towards the boy while doing so, thinking how she'd never seen his face around before. "This type of thing isn't anything unusual for this world."
no subject
"Not unusual?" he echoed at first, and then thought back to what he had read from the guide. "Um. So... this is a curse?"
no subject
"It's a possibility to say the least. No one really knows what the deities are truly plotting. You're new here, aren't you?"
no subject
He trailed away then and studied the blond a bit. "Ah... How long have you been here? O-or--" his eyes widened a bit at the realization of one other possibility. "Are you from around here, s-sir?"
no subject
"You should be careful of who you run into, boy." Haruka lightly smirked and teased him a little. "The big bad wolf might come eat you."

He briefly shook off the beginnings of discouragement and put on a determined face instead. "I-I can protect myself," he said, and though he didn't gesture to the sword strapped to his back, he was sure that, at least, that must be visible! He might not be as great in the art of fighting, and relied on another persona to do all the fighting too... but!
The thoughts of resentment could never last for Emil, however, and very soon he was thanking the other blond for his warning. "I mean, thanks for the warning but... I'll be okay."
no subject
"Let me guess, you have some princess somewhere you wish to protect too." Kids these days. If there were this many people willing to sacrifice their life and taint their hands, why did she have to be chosen as a protector of the world? Though...

And as he finished his reasoning, he couldn't help but imagine Tenebrae, the Centurion of Darkness, smirking as he offered a snide comment that was bound to fluster him more.
no subject
"Boy, if there ever comes a time when you'd have to chose one over the other, the world or your precious princess..." Her eyes tensed. "Would you be able to?"
no subject
"I mean--" He looked away, slightly flustered. He knew it was no good going in an outburst like that. "Somebody told me that as long as there's a possibility... y-you have to keep trying, so I'm not... going to choose like that before I know what's really going on..."

A gentle smile across her lips, she softly spoke before removing her hand from him. "You're a good kid."
no subject
"A-ah-" But should he argue about not being a kid or thank this man? After all, being called a good kid was supposed to be a compliment... right? He moaned slightly, and then offered the older man a nervous smile. "Thank you... I guess."

Haruka was on the police force after all. It was a good thing to keep track of the citizens here so she figured she'd ask. "I'm Haruka. Tenou Haruka of the police force. What's your name?"
no subject
"I'm Emil Castagnier, sir."
