Summary; Gwendolen acquires a roommate to stop the ticking, a girl she's never actually met.
Log; It was little more than a whim. Gwendolen hadn't really been planning on living with anyone. She enjoyed her space, and she was fairly capable of taking care of herself, even if she preferred the servants and respect she'd enjoyed in Queen Caroline's world. And she certainly didn't want to live with Christopher, even if he'd have let her.

But the ticking, the ticking. She could hardly stand that persistent noise. Until she could convince Cat to come back to her side, she'd have to find someone. Scanning the Network, she saw a post from a girl who seemed nice enough. As long as she stayed out of Gwendolen's room, she'd work for now.

So she put on her charming voice and invited the girl to live with her.

"Great" She picked her stuff up again and headed to the room Gwen pointed to before that was hers. It was odd having someone so much younger as a room mate, but in a way it was better then an adult. Adults asked questions and wanted to know you and where you were from. They wanted to connect, Something Di Di didn't need right now. "Oh, my full name is Delilah, but no one calls me that." She opened the door and looked in, placing her things into the room. "Do you know where the laundry is?" she shouted out.

That Gwendolen definitely did know. She'd arrived with an aching plunge into the City's fountain, which certainly hadn't endeared her to the place. Once she'd figured out how to work it, she'd managed to shrink the clothes she arrived in. But she was geting better with it.

"Next to the bathroom," she answered.

Di Di poked her head out into the hall and looked for the bathroom. She had really hoped there was two, but things would have to work out. Not that Di Di had anything that she couldn't tuck away in her room. "great, well I'll be unpacking" She then closed the door and started to get to know her new room.

"All right," Gwendolen said to the shut door, nodding decisively, before walking back down the hall and shutting herself in her own room. She would set up a few little tricks (it would have been easier with her magic, too, sadly enough) to make sure that Didi wasn't snooping, but that was more from suspicious habit than anything else.

And so one became two.
