Summary; They just keep finding themselves in this threesome fighting...
Log;

It was a bit late - the duel, that was - but regardless of that, Emil still found himself burning with the same irritation that had propelled him to make the challenge to Yuri, and eventually Leon too. That damned deal with the Breakers and Dolls, and the annoying powerlessness he'd experienced - even if it were just a tiny bit - had left him all fired up and itching to just beat something. Another way of dealing with this overwhelming lack of any fulfillment of sort would have been to let the other Emil take over and blindly grope about things again but he just didn't feel like doing that. What was the other Emil going to do anyway except whine about forgetting everything again? He couldn't care any less about him, especially when he just knew that other him was probably going to forget about this Breaker and Doll business.

"Hey, how long are you going to keep me waiting again?" he yelled impatiently as he stood, fingers clasping and unclasping the handle of his weapon just because. They always made him wait!

"You hear him?" Yuri chuckled a little as they walked to the designated battleground, just casually strolling along at a nice pace. His sword rested on his shoulder as usual, tap-tap-tapping with each step.

He'd been looking forward to this duel, actually. The last failure was still fresh on his mind, and it bothered him. Fighting with Leon, though not quite the same as taking Emil on alone, would prove to be both interesting and an advantage. Leon knew how to heal, for one. And if Emil was as powerful as he was last time, they'll be needing it. "He just can't hold in his excitement."

"Sounds like a fool itching to fight without considering the consequences," Leon snorted, unsheathing Chaltier as they neared the battleground and their enemy. He was vaguely looking forward to putting Emil in his place, but he certainly wouldn't let it show. The opponent was tough and he had to acknowledge that. He couldn't be so carelessly excited.

As he stepped into the designated battleground and into Emil's line of sight, he frowned, brows furrowing. "You're always so loud. Can't you just shut up?"

"Braced and ready to go, Emil," Yuri flicked his sword, tossing the sheath to the side as he hunched into position. He glanced at Leon, grinning. It felt different, for some reason, fighting in a serious battle together with Leon. Different from fighting monsters in the underground. Repede sashayed beside them, having walked at an even slower pace, and barked twice. "And I hope you're ready to get your ass kicked, too."

Leon gave Yuri a pointed look about the sheath, but held off the quip waiting on his tongue. Now wasn't the time to chide Yuri for his lack of proper form. He retrieved his dagger, gripping both it and Chaltier tightly as his mouth formed the words to an incantation.

What better way to start off a battle than with a spell to ravage the land?

"Move! Ground Dasher!"

Straight to the point. There was no use blowing smoke with the enemy before a battle. They just needed to get this over with.

Yuri didn't move in toward that attack, he instead unleashed his own version of it. And another and another as he moved in, closer as was his preference. He needed to lure Emil away from Leon, though Yuri knew full well that Leon was capable of fighting close-range as well. Still, a few spells were always nice. They looked neat, too.

Of course, Yuri couldn't fight without a little talking. It helped him concentrated, after all. "Hey, you forget me, blondie?"

Leon backstepped away from the wave of energy, already preparing a second spell, standing on the outskirts of the battlefield as he cast. He expected Yuri to intercept Emil in close combat. If Yuri could keep Emil distracted, it was possible he'd have an easier time targeting and damaging the enemy with a spell. Close combat meant limited movement, which was best for what Leon wanted to do. He'd enter the fray with Chaltier soon, of course. After a few more spells.

"Air Pressure!"

"Sorry, Emil, but I can't leave you alone right now," Yuri wasn't quite as fast as Emil, but he could toss a couple attacks his way. Not to mention, Ino taught him a nifty little trick - he pulled out a kunai and swiftly tossed it in the right direction. Thankfully, his aim was getting better.

"Watch out, Leon!" He shouted in good-nature, almost enjoying himself, despite the fact that this wasn't a friendly, buddy-buddy spar. This was the other personality, not the good little kid he knew. Everyone could get hurt in this battle, and that was okay with him.
