Summary; Always a good Samaritan, Natalia fetches Shing and brings him back to her place... for shelter!
Log; She quickly turned off her device and grabbed her coat, shoving the machine in her pocket before buttoning buttons and zipping zippers. She was rather excited, really, to have so many apartment mates living with her, now. There were surely enough rooms- they'd gotten a very large rapartment back when Peony, Tear, Luke, and Guy first appeared.

A reminiscent smile to herself before she set off, calling out to Luke that she'd be out for a moment. Building 11, thankfully, wasn't a very far walk at all- five or ten minutes, tops. And thankfully she had a good idea of what Shing looked like, thanks to the device.

It was cold outside, but nothing different from Keterburg. She marched forward with determination, passing shops, building 12, before finally making it her destination.

"Shing?"

"Ah... thank you, Natalia." Shing replied, flushing a little and bowing in thanks as he wrapped the coat a little tighter around himself. It was really a nice coat -- he'd definitely be treasuring this.

As he watched Natalia pay for the coat, he looked around some more outside -- it really was a big city. Bigger than Yuriao, even. "Natalia... how big is this place? Do you know?"

She pocketed the receipt and her pouch before returning her attention to Shing- he really looked quite wonderful in that jacket! Mature, almost. "The City is quite large for, well, a city. Think of it as a small island- it only recently just became larger, too, as the oceans receded after a curse."

That had been quite the hectic curse. Warfare and bloodshed- it was all just awful. "It'll take some time to explore the entire island, too."

"A... small island?" Shing blinked, looking around the area and letting out a low whistle. "This place must be bigger than I thought... maybe we can explore a little once I'm settled in?"

He followed Natalia a little, nodding idly as another question came into his mind. "Where's your apartment, anyway? Is it close to here?"

"A very good idea, Shing! Perhaps with the other new arrivals I've invited into my home, we could all have a tour around the City. Yes, that's a very good idea indeed." She began to walk toward the exit, back into the biting cold. It was a five-minute walk to the apartment building, thankfully.

"It was only a couple of buildings over from where we were, so it isn't far in the least."

"More new arrivals?" Shing blinked in surprise, following Natalia towards the apartment building curiously. "How many people are currently living in the apartment with us right now?

"Let's see- with you, there will be seven of us, now. But worry not- there are four rooms. I'll simply move in with Luke- it shouldn't be a problem at all." She had it all figured out! Oh, she was so smart. Ah- there was building twelve. Only one more to go!

"Really...? That sounds like a lot of people in one apartment..." Shing replies, obviously very shocked as he still followed Natalia to the apartment. "Are you sure it's okay for me to stay with you? I wouldn't want to cause trouble or anything."

"Oh, certainly. There are four rooms- when I first arrived, my friends and I made sure to find the largest room available." She thought to herself a little more. "Although I've seen others break down walls to join apartments- if necessary, I wouldn't mind doing that for us."

"Really?"

Shing paused a few moments to think. "Are you sure that's okay, though? What if someone needed that apartment?"

"The City works very strangely, Shing. These buildings seem to have an almost infinite amount of rooms- I've never heard of an outage of them." Ah! The first building- she went to open the door for them, into the warmth again. "I'm certain that as long as we don't get the wall leading to Megumi's apartment, we will be fine."

"Really? Wow... well, at least we don't have to worry about room!" Shing replied, following her into the first apartment building.

"...who's Megumi?"

"Correct! It should be rather cozy, now, and quite lively. I'm honestly looking forward to it." And thankfully, it was only the third door from the entrance. She took out her key and opened the door.

"Megumi's our next-door neighbor," she answered as she gestured to the next door over. "She's quite a kind lady. Perhaps you'll have the chance to meet her one day."

"Yeah..." Shing nodded enthusiastically. "It sounds like there's a lot of people there I can be good friends with!" You and your Soma Links, Shing.

"I hope so, too..." he added in response to the remark regarding Megumi as he looked around in the new apartment. Not once did he hide his curiosity about it. "Wow...! So big...!

"I'm sure you'll fit in just fine, Shing. All right, I'll move my things in with Luke, and you can have the empty room. Is that all right with you?" She closed the door behind her, watching in amusement as he explored.

"Well... if it's okay with you, Natalia..." Shing kinda feels bad for now unintentionally booting Natalia from her room. "Let me help with moving stuff, at least."

"Splendid! I'm sure Luke won't mind-" Natalia was very happy to have such a lively apartment again. For so long it was just her, Florian, and whoever decided to pop in for a couple of weeks before popping back out. It'd been a little lonely.

"If you say so..." Shing replied, looking around the apartment some more -- it really was bigger than his home. And... pretty much anywhere else, really. He was a bit curious, though.

"Luke...?" Shing frowned a little. "Oh! I met a red-haired boy on this thing that said he knew you." He held up the network box. "I never got his name, though... was that him?"

"Oh, you've already spoken with him? Yes, that would be Luke. This'll give you the perfect opportunity to get to know each other!" Natalia hung her coat on a nearby coatrack.

"Would you like a small tour? Or perhaps you'd like to explore on your own?"

Shing nodded. "Yeah, he seems like a very nice guy. I hope I can be friends with him, like I am with you, Natalia." He smiled brightly at her as he removed his new coat and hung it on that same coatrack.

"Hmm... I think I want to settle in first before we go on that tour, Natalia. Is that okay with you?"

"I'm sure you will be, Shing, and of course you can. Please go right on ahead- and do ignore the large hole in the wall, as well. That should be repaired shortly." She nodded and headed toward her room to relocate.

"Ah... thank you!" Shing smiled, beginning to follow Natalia... except he got distracted by said hole in the wall. And... is kinda weirded out by its shape.

"...how does that even happen?" Shing asked, engaging in a bit of lampshade hanging as he pointed out the Colette-shaped hole in the wall.

"It's... I've really no clue. But the young lady, Colette, who created it is quite kind. As is her friend, Lloyd." Natalia kicked some rubble as she passed- how did a hole shaped so precisely happen like that?

"Lloyd and Colette..." Shing continued to examine the hole, idly kicking a piece of rubble -- this thing defied physics! "They do sound nice, though I'm kinda scared of what Colette can do if she can do something like this." And he gestured to the broken wall in emphasis.

"I can't wait for our first dinner together! I've not cooked a proper meal for so many people before. I look forward to it." Just another excuse to cook- and her range of effect has increased! Where are the panacea bottles?!

"Really? That sounds like it'd be fun -- maybe I can help?" Shing blinked, smiling a little. Oh, he has yet to realize the horrors of her cooking since this is before the New Years' fiasco, shush.
