[ log // ongoing ]

When; February 27; early morning
Rating; PG
Characters; Yuri Lowell [[livejournal.com profile] notflynn] and Leon Magnus [[livejournal.com profile] roseofseingald]
Summary; Leon finds out that Yuri traded his powers to erase his scar. Leon is fucking pissed. So much for gratitude.
Log; They walked toward Xanadu, and Yuri did his best to keep his gold blastia out of sight. It was easy enough to see that the red jewels were no longer in place, and Leon was smart enough to put two and two together if he wasn't careful- he didn't think he could pull it off the entire month, no. That'd be underestimating Leon, everyone. He couldn't keep this a secret for so long. But he'd at least hoped, wanted it to remain as such for a while. Clueless, ignorant, a veil of ignorance. Otherwise, it was too much trouble, too much entanglement.

He cursed Flynn's impromptu spar, the daily training he always had with Leon. It was too much to hope that Leon wouldn't notice his lack of artes. It was only a matter of time- and he tried to keep the grim thoughts away from his expression.

But he was never the type to tell or give away little secrets, big secrets. He would rather people find out on their own, if it came down to it. And that kind of thing was inevitable, here- who wouldn't notice a giant scar disappearing?

Still, he couldn't help it, and he didn't regret his decision one bit. Even if Leon became angry with him again, avoided him again, it was the right thing to do. There was no other alternative, in Yuri's opinion. Seeing that scar, emblazoned so angry and red along Leon's side during their more heated training sessions- he absolutely couldn't stand it. He wasn't one for regret, never one for dwelling on the past, but to know that with his own hands, he'd caused such a thing- the only option left to do was atone, to take responsibility for his actions. He didn't know what to trade, so the blastia seemed sufficient enough. He would have traded most anything, if only to relieve Leon from his own stupid mistakes.

They arrived in Xanadu, their usual spot.

"Well, let's get to it, then."

Leon was already suspicious. He had never been the trusting type, and Yuri had been a little strange that morning and it made him wonder what was going on. Not to mention the fact he was entirely on edge, know that someone had made a trade to get rid of his scar. Was it Yuri? But why? What was the point in bringing it back up when he had already gotten used to it? But he didn't know for sure that Yuri had done it.

The entire house knew about the scar at this point, as well as a few outside of the house. Stahn would be stupid enough to do it, but Leon doubted that Stahn even knew about deity trades. It was possible, but extremely doubtful.

When they arrived in Xanadu, Leon nodded briefly to acknowledge Yuri.

"Right. Let's begin."

He unsheathed his swords as he usually did, shifting into a battle stance. He could contemplate it more later, when he wasn't training. Now was the time to take his frustrations out through training and better himself.
