Log // Ongoing // Closed to Guests and Dinner

When; February 26/February 27: Late Friday Evening/Saturday morning
Rating; R. This is disturbing stuff.
Characters; The Master [livejournal.com profile] neverendingbeat, Rido Kuran [livejournal.com profile] council_king, Aion [livejournal.com profile] jiyuna_togabito, Justin Pendleton [livejournal.com profile] absinthe_eyed, Ken Hidaka [livejournal.com profile] bladed_siberian, Mara Lesser[livejournal.com profile] cry_reaper, Mercedes (Mercy) Thompson [livejournal.com profile] coyote_walking, Shin Mouri[livejournal.com profile] brbgonefishin, Rip Van Winkle [livejournal.com profile] der_freischuetz, Luke Valentine [livejournal.com profile] valentineluke, Damien Thorn [livejournal.com profile] reignforever, Grell Sutcliff [livejournal.com profile] deathbutler, Myrnin [livejournal.com profile] trapdoor_spider
Summary; Some people have interesting diets that shouldn't be discriminated against. Rido and the Master are catering to that with their dinner party. With five kidnapped humans sentient beings. I can be not-speciest. I'm cool like that.
Log; Rido had found a rather perfect cave in the Underground for the purposes of the party. It was large enough to have a certain amount of majesty but not so large that the candles lighting it were ineffective. Due to the nature of most of the guests, the large dining table, and accompanying chairs were closer to the side of the room than there would have been for a more traditional party, but there was a variety of food on it to appeal to the more conventional eaters among the guests. In addition, there were several comfortable chairs placed around the cave, for guests to sit in and chat, with each other or the dinner.

The dinner was gagged and in various places around the room: Ken, bound and hanging upside-down from the ceiling; Mara, tied to a section of the table, beside the rest of the food; Justin, bound to a chair; and Shin chained onto the stone wall. There was a fifth guest, but she would be brought out only at Rido’s discretion.

[ooc: HEY. So. I tried my best, as did Rido-mun, but if we didn’t invite you and you feel like you would have been, PM one of us and we’ll tell you what we can or can’t assume. As for interaction with the victims, rules still apply. No mutilation, body part taking away…age. But anything else goes, up to, and including death. Except for Mercy, who you can’t see right now. No killing her. IT’S A CLEVER PUN, SEEEEE Right. Their memories of the evening will be removed, so…win/win? No. Win/lose. I’m too tired. This is all just reiteration. Sorry. Also, I was having trouble writing this it's so short, whyyyy so sorry as well for how late it went up.

Each victim will post an open thread where they are bound and blindfolded. Feel free to harass/speak verbalize at them at will. If you want to do more than verbally harass them, please start a new thread with "Requesting [victim name]" in the subject line. Rido will lead you to/bring your victim to you. Please PM the details of what you want to do to each victim so they can keep track of injuries, order, and any limits they need to impose. Most importantly, have fun!]

Myrnin considered this a moment then nods. "Indeed it is. Particularly in relation to the society one is currently living in. There were so many things considered 'correct' a few hundred years ago." He sighed almost nostalgically then smiled. "It's always an...adjustment."

"Mmmm no. I suppose they wouldn't. In my world, we're a bit of a dying breed and we're dependent upon humans as a food source so we do tend to conform to conventions when necessary," Myrnin said as he straightened the ruffles sitcking out from his jacket sleeve.

Myrnin nodded in agreement with the Master. "Even in Morganville where we raise them to be donors, they have their...rebellions."

"Precisely. We even keep them caged in a manner of speaking. I've managed to use Ada to generate an energy field that keeps people from leaving without permission. Cars die on the edge of town or wreck. That sort of thing. People can come in but not leave."

Myrnin is quite proud of the work he's done with Ada.

Re: Myrnin-Guest {I fail. thought i answered this weeks ago. Only I guess in my head not here}

Myrnin paused a moment, considering the question. Ada was a bit hard to explain. "She used to be my assistant--one of the finest minds I have ever come across," he sounded very regretful and nostalgic when he said this. "Tragically she was killed during one of my...bad days. It seemed a waste of a brilliant mind so I preserved it, kept her brain alive and put it in a computer. She was the energy force behind both the force field around Morganville and the portals with in it."
