Log; Ongoing
When; Wednesday evening
Rating; PG
Characters; Tony Stark {
idmakeitaweek} and Reinette {
fireplacegirl}
Summary; Tony asks Reinette to meet him at Lux for drinks and conversation, and she accepts.
Log;
Reinette slipped quietly out of the TARDIS. She hadn't seen the Doctor in a few hours, and assumed he was in one of the TARDIS's many rooms, still reeling from the arrival of the other Doctor. Best not to disturb him.
She removed the network device from her pocket and, after a few moments of fiddling with it, pulled up a map of the City. Nearly a month there, and she still had trouble finding her way about. The path to the library was one she could probably walk in her sleep, but the way to Lux was one she was unfamiliar with, having been only once before.
With some difficulty, Reinette found the bar, though at nearly fifteen minutes past the half hour they had agreed upon. She waded through the crowd inside the bar, searching for the face from the network. He wasn't hard to find; there were mostly women sitting at the bar tonight.
She put a light hand on his shoulder, offering up a smile. "Mr. Stark?"

"I think we can manage both. Late isn't something I'm concerned with. It's the early part of the day that I try to avoid."
He leads her back to the table and pours another glass of wine for her and orders a fresh scotch for himself.

"If you are unable to solve this conundrum, then you are in my debt in the amount of a week of evenings with you, spaced out however I like. I hope you do not find that too harsh."

"And I will not deny a certain amount of boredom. I spend my un-cursed days dreading my cursed ones. Those days are like dreading a death sentence you know is coming, but not when. I try to spend them as normally as possible: I work at the library, take tea every afternoon with a friend, and yet...," she trails off. "There still is no sense of normalcy. Perhaps restless would best describe how I feel. If you can find a remedy for that, I would be most grateful," she says with a smile. In truth, his company tonight has already relieved a good deal of her restlessness. The Doctor has been either busy or absent as of late, and she is glad to have someone over the age of fifteen to have an extended conversation with.

"I'd prescribe more wine, less tea and more dancing with me. Less routine, more spontaneity might not hurt though."
