Log; Ongoing
When; midnight (12:01am June 4)
Rating; PG? PG-13? Violence!
Characters; open to anyone involved in fighting the Golden Army
Summary; What started as a relatively calm night changes with a rumble in the Underground. Most would think it's a particularly noisy train passing by, but this sound doesn't rumble on its way through. The rumbling grows louder and louder until ten mechanical monsters emerge from the subway station, one by one on heavy pounding feet, onto the street. They are larger than ten men and they can shake just as many off their metal hides. They are single units but they can fight even in a hundred pieces. They are the Golden Army. They are here by command of he who wears the Crown of Bethmora, and he has every intention of seeing them do what they were made to do; to destroy.
Log;
Something was coming. He could feel it.
It had started off as some rumblings in the Underground, and, as far as anybody thought, it was just some trains passing by...but something was off.
Hanna knew something was going to happen. He'd been preparing for something bad ever since he finally figured out who attacked Gallahad...who had been attacking so many others. The problem was, Hanna didn't exactly know what the next move of the Elf King Nuada was going to be...
So he watched and waited. Something was going to happen...and as the rumbling grew louder and louder, he seemed to realize that the something that was coming...was big. And bad. And probably answering for Nuada directly...
Take down the backup support, it'll be a lot easier to take down the head of the army.
The literal army, as it turned out. Ten giant golden soldiers...
Hanna was outnumbered and outmatched. But he just grinned and gripped his hammer and marker tighter as the soldiers emerged from the subway. He was gonna make sure they didn't get very far.
"HEY!! Ya big tin morons, down here!!"
The soldiers seemed to stop and turn around, and he smirked. Time to take down the Golden Army.
[ooc: As mentioned here, we decided to do a log after all for the big fight on the streets. Use prose, brackets, whatever floats your boat! NPC the Golden Army soldiers as full soldiers or in pieces because even when beheaded the bits and pieces can crawl around and kick people |D Meet other characters and form lasting fight partnerships! Also this may be of interest to you, those vandals.]

"Something bad might happen."
It was one of the glimpses she got sometimes.

"If you don't want me to go, then let me take you somewhere safe. Rain... just tell me what you want..."

But her comment made him rethink how wise it would be to leave her behind, even if he was simply following her directives. So letting his fingertips slide from her face, he reached for her hand instead. "Not that this is necessarily the best idea, but perhaps you should come with me instead..."

So she could try and keep him safe. Maybe if the bad thing came she'd see it in time to warn him.

"Let's go then." Turning on his heel, Solomon's eyes scanned the battle as they wove their way further into the combat zone.

She tried to shove him in the right direction, stumbling further into the line of fire herself.
