[Euphie arrives at the fountain where they agreed to meet. She's sitting on the edge lightly running her fingers over the surface of the water, creating little ripples.]

What do you mean? [He asks in regard to her first statement. And then looks down at the sand, kneeling beside her.]

I suppose you should gather plenty of sand and start building castles. [He starts to demonstrate as his hands start building a somewhat cylinder shape.]

[She tries this with sand that is too dry and it doesn't so much stick together.] You make it look easy.

I think you need more water to make it more adhesive. [He smiles and then goes to add a bit of water from the shore to her sand. He then shapes it up.]

[Smiles] That makes sense. So, are we making castles or is there something else we should make?

I'm not sure. A mermaid?

You're going to build a mermaid sculpture using the sand?

No, we're going to build it!

[He smiles. The simplicity in her answer... it's amusing, to say the least.]

... Of course. Shall we start then?

Mm, yes. Tail first?

[He starts gathering more sand.] Alright.

It is! Would you rather do this often, though?

Ah, I mean would it be fine for you if you go to the beach often so you can build things with the sand?

Of course. But there are lots of things I'd enjoy often.

I see. Well... I wouldn't mind accompanying you here if you want to go some other time.

[Smiles warmly at him. She isn't really sure how she got to have friends like him, but she feels very very lucky.] I'd like that, Syaoran.

And... hopefully, we don't have to soak our normal clothes.

[Giggles] We will be a sight walking back.

I imagine so. Probably we should dry ourselves a bit first before heading back?

I guess sitting out in the sun will help. I didn't bring a towel.

Me neither. [Looks at the mermaid sculpture] Although, I think I should find nice shells to decorate this before I dry myself off.

[And then he starts unbuttoning his shirt.]

Oh, that would be nice. [Noticing the shirt.] Are you going to look in the water?

[And it's completely off now.] Yes, I'll try and look for some. [And he hands his shirt to Euphie with a smile.] Can you hold this for me, Euphemia-san?
