A'ight, this was going be easy. All he had to do was take her out for a bit, get something to eat, and then take her home. Just like in the movies he's seen. Bitch status at best., but somehow he still felt a little nervous about this shit. Not sure why. Probably had gas or some shit.

Once he finally arrived at her apartment door, he slowly knocks on the door. Damn, now that he;s thought about it, has he ever met her in person? Shit, yeah she seems nice, but what if that's a ploy and she's actually some giant mutant alien who's gonna try to eat him? Because he's seen that in date movies too.

Meredy answered the door, all smiles and perky personality that she generally displayed over the Network. No giant monster alien type creature, though she is likely taller than him. And there was a small blue creature sitting on her shoulder.

"Hello! It is nice to meet Riley!"

Okay, no monsters, no vampire teeth he otherwise couldn't spot over the network device. She doesn't seem to be turning into a werewolf either. Okay, so far so good.

"Yeah, good to meetchu too." His eyes then went towards the blue creature on her shoulder and gestured to it. "So that's yo pet?" He has seen it before on the netowrk but never up close.

"You bet. This is Quickie."

Quickie perks at the mention of his name, squeaking as if he were greeting Riley too before settling back down. She just smiles brightly, stepping outside and closing the door behind her.

"Where are Meredy and Riley going on date?"

"Well since this our first date and everything, I thought, I'd just give you the honor of deciding." Booyah, hurray for ideas from Huey. He get to go on a date and he don't gotta think up no ideas, or plan, or nothin'. Hell he don't even got to talk if he don't want to. She'll just be talkin' and blah blah blahing and he just gotta nod his head. This was perfect, beautiful even. He couldn't believe Huey had thought of this. And best of all he didn't have to pay-- wait. DAMN, yes he did. He was the man so he had to pay for it. Shit, what if she chose something expensive? It'd put his fat wallet on a fuckin' Slim Fast diet.

He couldn't believe it. That nigga done set him up. This a straight up bitch nigga plan. He couldn't BELIEVE he took advice from him, he never listening to him again.

"Meredy decides?" Meredy blinked, looking thoughtful. She hadn't decided on the date with Tyr, so she had basically zero experience when it came to coming up for ideas on dates. She tilted her head, still thinking as she started to walk down the hallway.

"Um... What does Riley like to do?"

Riley followed along side her, thinking to himself. What does he like to do? Hmmm.

"Well I like to go to the arcade, and buy new gear, and-- wait, why you askin' me fo'? I said we could do what you wanted to do." And then it donged on him. This wasn't going to work on Meredy. She was too native to know anything about how to do this. She really didn't even know what a date was. Damn, that meant he was going to have to put effort in this.

"A'ight look, if you don't know whatchu wanna do, I'll just think of somethin'."

"What is... 'arcade'? Meredy only explore and shop when not working. Or spend time with friends."

Riley could stand to do some work for this date, she did pay for him after all. Not that Meredy would think anything like that. To her, 'date' was just another word for hanging out with her friends. Just... one on one! Or something like that. She's not had the average experiences of the average sixteen-year-old.

"Meredy want to know more about Riley too."

"You ain't never been to an arcade either?" Man she really did have a pretty freaking sheltered life. Doesn't know what a date is, never been to the arcade. Seems like she spends more time caring about other people than she do for herself. ..

Alright alright, all your moeyness wins this one Meredy. He'll actually try.

"Well we'll meet each other half way then. We'll do some stuff I usually do, and then we'll do some stuff you usually do."

"Celestia not have anything called 'arcade'."

She sounds pretty interested in it, but pretty much everything new to her is also interesting to her. There's so much in the City that she hasn't seen yet. She's glad that she has friends that seem to know about the things that she doesn't know.

"You bet! That is good idea. Where first, Riley?"

He thinks for a minute and then a grin creeps itself across his face.

"You ever played basketball befo'?"

"Nope! Is it fun? What is it like?"

Meredy's curious, and from the look on Riley's face, it must be something he really likes. So Meredy wants to know about it.

"Check it, the point of the game is to get a ball right? And then you shoot it in a hoop. But not like any ol' way. Gotta put a lil' flare to that shit like this."

And then he demonstrates by doing a jump shot and pretending he's shooting a basketball at an imaginary hoop.

She watches, nodding with rapt attention as he demonstrates the technique. It's like he's teaching something her amazing and new and she smiles excitedly.

"Ohh! Okay! Meredy will try very hard! Are Riley and Meredy going somewhere to play?"

He doesn't think there's a basketball court here so hmmm.

"Yeah, I got an idea. Follow me." He'll just buy one of those cheap plastic hoops from the store. He has one at home, but no way he's going back there to deal with Huey.

"You bet."

And she trails after Riley closely like a lost puppy, looking around every now and then.

"Does Riley play basketball often?"

"Hell yeah, I play it all the time. I'm like, a pro at this shit. Back at home, I was the star of my basketball team."

For once Riley was actually telling the truth and not just bragging on false accomplishments. Well MOSTLY telling the truth. For his age, he actually pretty good, but he's not pro league material. "Does Celestia or whatever have sports you can play?"

"Umm. Inferia has Royal Arena - many people enter to fight others and become champion. We also race ships around Celestia."

Yeah. Meredy considers that kind of thing to be a sport, but she really hasn't had a normal childhood with the kind of experiences a normal kid would have. In fact, she's been a research assistant to Celestia's greatest researcher for most of her childhood after beginning to live on her own.

"Oh! Not sport, but many Celestians play game called WHIS. It is very fun, good for passing time."

She thinks for a few more minutes, trying to remember things she saw on Inferia.

"Meredy almost forgot! Inferians play games called Craymel Ball and Chambaloon. Meredy not play them until going to Inferia."

Well he'll probably consider Royal Arena like a sport, since boxing is considered a sport. It might as well be, if even GOLF is considered a sport. What the hell can happen in golf? You sprain your wrist? Please.

"Damn, you gots all kinds of games back in yo world. You think one day you could show me how ta play some of 'em? 'Cause I'd be dominatin' niggas left and right." Oh look, the store shouldn't be too far away at this point. Hmm, this conversation is giving him an idea actually. "'Ey... You think niggas would trip if we had a Royal Arena in the City?"

Royal Arena would be a lot more intense that boxing at the very least, due to the nature of magic and weapon usage, but still somehow a sport of sorts. Just pretty dangerous.

"You bet! Meredy would be glad to show Riley games from home. Craymel ball is very fun."

Meredy tilts her head, thoughtful about his suggestion.

"Umm. Maybe! Would it be possible to make arena in City?"

"Would it be possible? Man Anything possible when I'm organizin' it. I could make some mad money off this shit too."

Sure Riley wasn't as super smart as his brother, but he was a great deal smarter than your average kid at doing business and organizing things like this. Being incredibly bright must be a family trait or something. At this point the store he's headed for should be insight.

"Ohh, then Meredy and Riley should make arena in City! We would need many competitors. And monsters! And announcer! Many people."

She sweeps her hands out wide to emphasize how many people they'll need for the arena. But the number of people wouldn't deter her from it.

"How would we make arena?"

Even though she's asking about that, she's hurrying ahead a short ways to look at the stores around them. Her eyes just seem to light up whenever she sees something new or interesting to her. Her attention span is pretty short, though.

Man, she seems so excited. He doesn't know how long she's been here, so maybe something that reminds her of home makes her happy...er.

"Well, I don't quite know yet. My genius is somethin' that takes a little while to get started, know what'm sayin'? But I figure it ain't gon' be too hard. Just gotta charge people to enter, and then have 'em fight each other. Easy." When they get to the store, he'll open the door first and gesture for her to go inside. "'Ey, in here."

"Arena already charge people to enter. Then champion wins money and becomes champion until defeated in another tournament."

She stops running around when he gets to the store and hurries over to him to go inside. How considerate of Riley to hold the door open for her! She smiles happily at him before looking around the store curiously.

It's a bunch of stuff she's not seen before in Celestia or Inferia.

"Is basketball in here?"

"Then it's perfect!"

Well he figured if he didn't she probably wouldn't have even seen him go in with how bouncy she was. Besides he wants to spite Huey. Thinking Riley going to ruin everything because he a hater.

"Yeah, basketball in here." Just give him a second to look around annnnd found it. He holds up one of those little portable-ish basketball goals that come with the little basketball inside. "See? This it right here."

Meredy gets really close to it to inspect the foreign object. She's definitely never seen anything like this before and it's... smaller than she imagined it would be. Little does she know it's a smaller version of the real thing.

"It is little. How do Riley and Meredy play? It is not high up."
