[ The plan is this: haul all of her stuff over to Euphie's place, get the two of them ready (and totally smokin' hot, in Ino's opinion), and then wait for Yuri and Flynn to come pick them up, when Ino would finally reveal what they were doing.

And where they were going.

And everything.

It was all part of her masterful plan to finally hook Euphie and Flynn up. A plan the was definitely going to work, especially with how good they both looked. Ino curled her last lock of hair with her iron, before sitting back to admire her handiwork, smoothing her hair down and testing the bounciness of her curls. Perfect. ]

Hey, Euphie? Can you hairspray me?

[He gives the tie one last irritated tug before he tries to just barge in the door- but as he turns the knob he remembers his ~manners~ and knocks instead.

Ino's way more efficient at getting Yuri to behave than Flynn could ever dream.]

We're here! Open up.

[She just finished applying the hairspray when she hears Yuri at the door and giggles. She calls out, leaving them in the hallway a moment longer.] Is that any way to ask a lady to answer the door, Yuri?

[ Flynn's not exactly sure what to expect but he does a good job of hiding any anxiety that may be lurking inside his mind. As he waits, he notices Yuri's tie.

It's definitely crooked.

Without thinking, Flynn reaches to straighten it. ]

At least he knocked this time. [ Ino murmurs under her breath, rolling her eyes as she gets up and heads for the door, dragging Euphie along with her. ]

Hang on a second! [ They can wait a little while, right? She turns to Euphie, scanning the other girl from head to toe, inspecting her handiwork. ]

[With a sigh he allows Flynn to do whatever, knowing that fighting would just...well, cause fighting. Taking it off probably isn't an option with either Flynn or Ino.

Daaaamn it.

Another knock at the door.]

Come on, we're gonna be late!

I'm ready. [But she is trying to pull the hem of her dress down a little. Did it need to be so short? She opens the door when she reaches it.]

What will we be late f—? [Train of thought switches tracks.] You both look so nice! [She sounds surprised, doesn't she?]

[ Flynn sees Euphy and- well, it's a good thing he saw Euphie after spotting Ino because... it effectively kept him from commenting on Ino's wear. Or reacting too badly about it.

He stares for a moment and then... well, he composes himself.

He steps forward and, with a bow, extends a hand to Euphemia. ]

The two of you look very beautiful tonight, Lady Euphemia- [ He turns to Ino briefly. ] Miss Ino.

[ And that--that was the reaction she'd wanted. With a very, very self-satisfied smirk, she nods at Flynn, though she's fairly certain he couldn't care less, and slides over to Yuri. ]

Thanks, Flynn.

[ Quickly, out of habit, she lifts herself up and presses a quick kiss to Yuri's lips, then reaches out to straighten his tie. ]

I think we'll be fine even if we're a little late.

[Yuri grins, placing an arm around her waist - also a habit. She looks sexaaaaay.]

Definitely can't complain with the view, if you know what I mean.

[She blushes a little and takes Flynn's offered hand.] Thank you. [She just smiles at Ino and Yuri's affection.] Where are we going, Ino?

[ He shoots Yuri a glare, but doesn't say anything. At the very least, Yuri should behave.

Besides, Euphemia was supposed to be his... date...

He turns to Ino expectantly, but doesn't say anything really... Anxious Srs. ]

Since everyone seems to be expecting an answer, Ino decides to merely smile and shrug noncommittally. ]

It's a surprise.

[ She'll just be hustling everyone out into the hallway and locking the door behind her, before taking Yuri's arm and leading the way. ]

[ SKIPPING AHEAD NOW

Ino takes them to a romantic little restaurant near the Square, where she made reservations for them (that they were on time for, for your information). It has drinks and dancing and like five million candles all over the place, so she figures this'll be good.

ANYWAY, they're at their table now, so Ino waits for Yuri to pull her chair out for her. ]

What do you guys think? Cozy, right?

[AND YURI DOES. Because he's well-trained like that. Kisses the top of her head while he's at it, too. He waits until Euphie's seated, and stands next to Ino's chair all...gentlemanly.]

[ ...what else, what else...- he looks at Euphemia beside him and... focuses on the other pair instead. Flynn, of course, is used to being composed and calm and- even with Lady Estellise it was never like this... ]

[ She's glad for the square table--couldn't have planned it better herself, actually, because while most people think it's better to sit next to the person they like, it's much better to sit across from them. Eye contact and all.

This is the best of both worlds.

So she's pleased as she takes her seat, in spite of the fact that it's apparently up to her to carry the conversation. ]
