Summary; Yuri's way of keeping an eye on Flynn is to stalk him.
Log; [Flynn's going out again. This has been happening a lot more than usual, so Yuri of course is suspicious. He promised Rita that he'd keep an eye on Flynn - promised himself as well.

If Flynn really is being controlled, he has to be there to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid. After all, Flynn could cause a lot of damage. And most of all- he could do something he'll seriously regret.

So he follows a few yards behind Flynn, making sure his steps are light, that he isn't too sudden.]

[ Yuri was usually out sparring with Leon at this time of the day, so with this in mind, Flynn doesn't pay much attention to anyone following him (read; Yuri) when he sets out from the shotahouse.

He's in his full armor again and, more importantly, it looks like he's ready for a fight. He stops along the way to the forest to test how fast he can draw his sword before continuing.

At the forest, it becomes clear that Flynn set out to meet several people- two ~~NPCs~~ of which are holding a resisting one in a grip... ]

[Luckily, Yuri had seen Flynn leave before he actually set out with Leon, and he let the other know he wouldn't be present.

Yuri watches in confusion. What is Flynn doing? Who is he meeting? Why is- he certainly hopes Flynn has a good reason for not immediately saving the struggling one.

Yuri stands by just in case, hidden behind a clump of trees, his hand on his sword at the ready.]

[ Flynn speaks with the people holding the other person for a while, in quiet tones that Yuri couldn't possibly discern from where he's at. He motions for the people to... release the man-

And they do, of course. The previous held-down person immediately lunges after Flynn, an attempt that falls flat as Flynn quickly throws him to his knees.

The person screams in pain, but is very much conscious. At this point, Flynn punches him, hard enough to knock him out-

He kneels down afterwards, looming over the unconscious person- ]

[This definitely confirms that Flynn's been off, that he's being influenced by something. Because he's sure as hell that he saw fear in that stranger's eyes - sure Yuri doesn't know everyone Flynn's met, but he's got a feeling that that stranger didn't deserve to be treated like that.

Not knowing what Flynn plans to do next, he quickly runs out from his hiding place, sword in hand, hoping to distract Flynn so that the person can get away- or if he can get the person away from Flynn.]

What the hell do you think you're doing, Flynn?!

[ Flynn turns to Yuri in surprise, not expecting his best friend to come out from the clearing at all. He'd been careless.

He gives a quick look to the still-conscious people and they disappear into the clearing, running away as fast as their legs could carry them, leaving Flynn with the unconscious ~~NPC~~ person laying sprawled on the floor.

There's a moment of blankness on Flynn's face, but he smiles after that. ]

Yuri...!

Don't play dumb with me, Flynn. Explain-!

[He catches that blank look- could it be the mind control? He lunges for Flynn, trying to attack him straight on with a basic melee move, hoping to get him to back away from the unconscious person.]

[ Flynn blocks, albeit a bit clumsily. He steps back and gives Yuri a look of concern- ]

What the hell are you attacking me for, Yuri?!

I said don't play dumb-

[Moves forward again, slashing a few more times]

The hell is wrong with you?

What do you mean what's wrong with me, Yuri?!

[ Flynn blocks some more- ]

I saved that man, didn't I?!

Right, since when is knocking him out saving him?

[He swipes his sword down]

Destruction field!

Yuri!

[ And he counters with a Guardian Field- ]

It was for his own good! Listen to me!

You think I didn't see everything, Flynn? You had him held down! What, don't tell me you were spar-

[He jumps back, eyes widening. Sparring? Is this what Flynn did to Ino? Held her down and-

His eyes narrow. He immediately launches into a series of Azure Storms.]

I was saving him! [ block block block ]

[ And he counters with Demonic Chaos~ ]

Did it look like we were sparring?

Beast!

[Flynn's a little bit sloppier than usual, so he can dodge a little more easily.]

Of course not- that's the problem!

[Dashes forward and feels the air heat up with his Pyre HAvoc]

I swear if that's what you did to Ino, I'm returning the favor tenfold!

Ino- What do you mean?!

[ Of course, Flynn knows, but...

And that attacks takes him by surprise and he ends up merely blocking and stepping backwards. ]

[Yuri intends to completely defeat Flynn right now. He can't have Flynn doing this to other people- he just can't.

Another Azure Edge!]

Shut up, if you're not going to own up to what you did- you're not better than Ragou!

I did nothing wrong! Why must I "own up" if nothing was wrong in the first place!

[ blocks and begins casting a Holy Lance-- ]

You can't possibly think that!

[runs forward to interrupt it with a few slashes]

[ Is interrupted, and tries to block and counter suddenly, but isn't as fast as he normally is. ]

[GHOST WOLF TIME! As he rushes by and strikes at you, Flynn!]

[ Blocks and then tries to gain some distance from Yuri- ]

Stop! Yuri, please!

[ And in an attempt to show how sincere he is, he tosses his sword aside. ]

[Before Yuri can attack again, Flynn tosses that sword aside, and Yuri freezes, almost stumbling forward from the momentum. His eyes widen, his grip on the sword loosens and he nearly drops it-

Did Flynn just...surrender?

Either Flynn is really innocent (which he doubts) or he's behaving strangely again (which is more likely the case at hand).

He gathers his balance, straightens himself, walks toward Flynn with an eerie calmness.]

Didn't I tell you, Flynn? Become a villain, and I won't have much of a choice.

[Tries to back Flynn into a tree]

I- ... I haven't become a villain, Yuri...

[ is backed into a tree. It doesn't look like resisting will make Yuri trust him... ]

[He places a hand on the tree, trapping the other. He looks deadly serious.]

Tell me what you were doing, then.

I was making it easier for him.

[ Flynn says softly- ]

You probably didn't hear our conversation- [ He looks at Yuri with searching eyes- ] ... but I promise you, on the name of the Imperial Knights, that I had acted with the victim's best interest in mind.
