Summary; A rescue from vampires

[It's still early when Euphie heads out to visit Hanna for their breakfast plans. In fact, it's still dark. It should be stranger than it feels, but in a place like this you get used to these things little by little. She should have checked the network for more signs of the curse, but she was running a little behind. Besides, she didn't like hiding in her room even when their were curses. She'd spent too many days that way, but perhaps she should have spent at least one more.
As she walks she gets the strange feeling that she is being followed, but whenever she glances back she sees only her surroundings and nothing more. Maybe it was the lack of people that was becoming eerie. Still, she continued on toward Hanna's home, stepping just a little faster as she went.
She feels a little silly for how tense she is being, and she relaxes when her destination comes into view. Just a little further. She glances up to one of the windows she thinks is his, but when she looks back down there is a man standing in front of her staring at her coldly with a joyless grin. She takes an involuntary step back only to notice another man moving in closer from her side.]
Oh...ah...good morning.
(OOC:Not all vampires are bothered by sun? Oooor if they should be then this is really early and the sun isn't quite up yet. Anyway, these are NPC vampires, and Hanna is tapped as the hero of our story. I can read, really. So, no sun today.)

But his hammer starts acting up as soon as he heads downstairs to meet up with Euphie...and that bothers him.
So he walks a little faster, only to reach Euphie too late...]

[He looks around, frantically, before he sees the men. Oh, shit.]

[Hanna's furious, whipping out his marker and rapidly drawing something on his hand before shooting a beam of energy at the man charging her. He then grips his hammer tighter and rushes the man, hitting him hard on the head.
Of course, there's still other men here, but he's only focused on the one that tried to charge Euphie.]

[There's a bunch of them, but Hanna's grip on his weapon is strong, and he's determined.]
I promise, I won't let them hurt you.

[Hanna's moving against them now, ramming the hammer hard against their heads in rapid succession before drawing out another rune and firing off another beam. He's just got to keep this up until they're gone and she's safe...]

[To the vampires] Stop! Please, just leave us.
*hugs*
I'll be okay. You need to get safe, Euphie, please...
[The vampires, of course, don't stop, and Hanna just sighs.]

[She starts toward Hanna's but vampires are still faster. One slips past Hanna and gets his arms around her, holding her tight.]
