Summary; Dawn comes in for her first ever real live job interview at City Solutions.
Log;
Natalie had little to attend to, other than having to replace two employees the City had decided recently to return home. With Taylor around, most of the menial work was done quickly and efficiently, leaving Natalie to the more complicated matters. Of which there were few, given their situation. As it were, she hadn't even begun looking for new employees when a potential fell right into her lap. Dawn Summers; a quick perusal of the Network lent her a good impression of the girl, and an association with a woman Natalie had run into a few times previously. Dawn was definitely a person of interest and if having her on at City Solutions would provide some sort of in, then Natalie was prepared to get her in.
She could rarely be found in her office on the 6th floor, but she made certain to be situated at her desk at the agreed upon time for Miss Summers' interview. It would likely be quick, once she got a bearing on her skills and desires within the City.

Did determined count? Probably not, she decided as she walked into the building. In the elevator, she pressed the number six and waited. At the last minute, here she was deciding whether leaving the mystical key part off of her resume. And she finally decided that was best. Not that she needed to hide it. In the City crazy and wild and different seemed to be the norm.
The elevator dinged and the doors open. She put on a bright smile and walked out, trying to look and act very professional and grown up. It wasn't a huge stretch, she just had to actually think about it. As far as interviews went, this was her first. At the desk, she held out her hand in greeting. "Hi. I'm Dawn Summers, I have an appointment with Natalie Rushman."

"Miss Summers," Natalie stood (smiling in order to hide her irritation provoked by her awful assistant) and moved from behind the desk, offering a hand to shake. "Good to meet you in person."

"Nice to meet you too. This is my first interview ever so I'm not really sure what to expect but..." Quit rambling, she told herself. Letting go of Natalie's hand, she dug the folder from her over-sized purse that she carried everything in including stakes and holy water. Yes, she was the Slayer's sister.

"Well, we've gone through introductions now, which I assume have been fairly painless. Next, I'll ask about your employment history. We won't bother with why you'd like to work here; that's fairly obvious and honestly of no concern to me. And then we'll move on to how qualified you are." Another bright smile and a pause to let Dawn adjust, absorb and get comfortable. This wasn't an interrogation.
Natalie usually conducted those in much darker arenas. And on people much worse than Dawn.

She pauses, takes a deep breath as she tries to decide what else to add. "I almost helped destroy the world once just by existing. And I've helped to save it a lot after that. So that makes up for the almost destroying it. Right?"

"Okay, great. You say you're quick with languages, and have some experience with magic and weapons. If you could specify which languages and weapons? I might be able to find you something here that will suit you." Sure, Natalie needed a new assistant but if Dawn was capable of more, she didn't want to waste the girl.

"And as far as weapons, I'm good with a sword and stakes. I've used a crossbow only a handful of times and had pretty decent aim, not like bulls-eye aim but close." She paused, considering that for a moment. "I'm not a mega witch or anything so spells with any real power are kind of out of my league but the easy ones I can usually help with."

"Follow me." The request was pleasant, but crisp: there's no room for questioning, here. Fortunately, if Dawn followed she'd only be moving back through the door, past the assistant's desk and down a small hallway to a door. Behind the door, when Natalie beckoned her inside, was a medium-sized room; training equipment lining the walls, mats lining the floor. Her next request came in Latin: "Show me."
The gesture Natalie made toward the wall revealed several different types of swords and other weapons and she began to remove her shoes as she waited for Dawn to choose something.

She turned to look at Natalie. "Is there a dummy to practice on?" Cause at this point she was not thinking she would actually be sparring with natalie herself.

Additionally, this would be entertaining at the very least. Dawn was not boring, as average as she came off.
"I promise I won't hurt you." That quirk turned into a whole smile while she raised an eyebrow and took a step toward Dawn, awaiting her opening.

Continuing to move to Dawn's left, Natalie nodded in order to signal that it was okay to continue. She knew that if Dawn was suddenly very good she would be able to request her to stop. But so far as she could tell, Dawn was human and a novice, and she wasn't worried.
"You've very good balance."

"When can you start?"
