When; Feb 26th
Where; The Fountain (Cause I like making characters uncomfortable)
Rating; PG-13 (To be safe)
Characters; Cassian and anyone wanting to jump in
Summary; Cassian is confused, cold, and wet, won't you help?
Log;
There were many ways Cassian had woken up in his lifetime, but he was fairly certain none of them had ever been landing in water.
Sputtering, cursing, and dripping, he stood up and climbed out of what he realized was a fountain. A fountain in the middle of a city he had never seen before.

"...What the hell?"

He looked around, hoping to see something familiar or at least to see something that would tell him where he was. That was when he noticed the ticking. it was like a clock had been placed in his brain, a steady, maddening tick-tock.

"That's just great, something else to prove I'm insane."

He placed a hand to his temple hoping, in vain, that rubbing it would make the ticking stop. Not so much. Cassian really hoped he was having some really strange dream.

Jezebel nodded, knowing that it had probably been much more difficult than Cassian was making it out to be. But he wouldn't press further if Cassian was unwilling to divulge. "Well, I'm glad you were able to stay safe," he said quietly. "You should be safe in the City as well. Delilah has no sway here."

Jezebel had never really thought of it that way, now that Cassian said it. After all, he still did his experiments, he still harassed Cain and his comrades, still considered himself much the same.

But he no longer lived under his father's thumb, fearing his whip and craving his attenton....it was a curious thing to realize.

"I suppose so," he said, his voice thoughtful.

Jezebel smiled the tiniest bit. "No, not really," he said. "I suppose I've always assumed one day I'd be able to go back -- or, I suppose, someone from Delilah would arrive here as well."

"Well, technically one has just arrived now, hasn't it?" he said, looking at Cassian with an eyebrow raised. "But I know what you mean. But one also never knows what this city will serve up eventually."

"I suppose that's the only thing to do," he said, before walking over to his closet to pull out a towel. "Here," he said, tossing it at Cassian. "Dry yourself off."

"Not at all," he said. "I'll see if I can find you a change of clothes, since yours must be soaked."

"I'll see what I can scrounge up," he said before moving to his closet, opening it and sifting through what was clean. He imagined Cassian was not the same size as him, but perhaps something loose-fitting enough would be fine.
