[It went without saying that Ted views himself as properly settled in this foreign place. He had his fair share of curses, some weird ones, others even weirder. Especially that one time where Tyr became a little dog that he played with. But, Ted was thankful that even with everything that happened, nothing really changed and that the same small routines that made up those happy times they had shared together remained. Although, he knew he couldn't get away from what he had been trying to suppress ever since his arrival. The warmness of the McDohl household that had always welcomed him with open arms helped in his adjustment. He had promised himself that once settled in properly, he'd talk to Tyr about more important stuff. He should know that whenever he saw him, Ted would furtively take a glance at his right hand.

For now, the small routines kept the atmosphere relaxing. Ted would ease his best friend to this. The night was theirs which made his lips tug up into a relaxing, if not a poignant, smile. Time was something he was so accustomed to. He knew how it worked - he had a lot of it - but time was also the one thing that betrayed him in the end. He never imagined he'd wish for more time; more time spent with the people he came to cherish. And here in this place, he had that luxury he couldn't afford back in their world. It was funny and ironic. He had a lot of time, but it was as if only a short period of that counted in his existence.

Changing for bed was one of the small routines he found quaint yet nice here. Ever since he entered this place, Tyr had been lending him his clothes, but Ted wouldn't have that for long. Soon, he bought those cheap clothes he saw in a nearby store. But right now, he couldn't find those cheap clothes and upon remembering that it probably because they were in the laundry, his smile turned sheepish. Turning around, Tyr might be able to see this.]

Uh, Tyr... can I ask you a favor?
