Closed Log.
When; Wednesday Morning.
Rating; PG-13 for gore?
Characters; Ciel Phantomhive and Sebastian Michaelis.
Summary; The Harpies are having fun with Ciel.
Log; Curiosity had overwhelmed him. Despite Sebastian's insistence that he must stay inside and away from harm, Ciel slipped outside the moment the demon left the mansion. Gathering his cloak around him, he hurried into the nearest shadows, wanting to avoid Tsubaki. He knew she meant well, but he was an investigator. If something was changing with the city, he had every right to check it out. Besides, he was armed.
However, the further he traveled from the mansion, the more uneasiness he felt. Finally, he paused and pulled out his pistol. Holding it tightly, he stayed very still, his uncovered eye moving over the terrain.
I don't see anything, but...
Suddenly, something knife-sharp gripped his shoulders and gave him a hard shake. Yelping, Ciel dropped the pistol and scrambled to break himself free. He could already feel the warm stickiness of his blood under his shirt.
"Back off!" he lashed out at the creature, fumbling for his pistol. He barely touched the handle when the creature grabbed his shoulders again. Sinking its claws into his already torn flesh, it caused Ciel to cry out in agony.
Grabbing his gun was no longer an option. He could barely feel his hands. That meant he only had one option, loathe that he was to admit it.
"S-Sebastian! I order y-you to kill this thing!" he ripped off his eye-patch and gritted his teeth.

Sebastian's exasperated voice came close to his master, the solid thunkthunkthunk of a whole line of knives sticking into the harpy's back accompanying it. Having been called in the middle of preparing breakfast, he was a little more than irritated at Ciel, only sparing him a brief glance as the creature unstuck her claws from the boy's back and shook off the knives, looking for her assailant. After ascertaining that yes, the master was alright (for now), he pulled out a new set of silverware to fight with, turning his attention to the harpy.
It had been a long time since Sebastian had fought against anything that wasn't a human's gun or sword, but his instincts had not dulled at all. He leaped up and lunged for her just as she launched herself towards him, and the two met in a screeching collision of steel against steel. There was a struggle for a two seconds, and the two left their mark on each other-- rips in Sebastian's coat and shirt, knives and forks into her stomach-- before they parted, the harpy flying back to recover.
For his part, Sebastian kept close to Ciel, having no intention of allowing the harpy to get close to the boy again.

"A-Ah!" he grimaced at the sharp pain said movement caused, "Sebastian." he swallowed another yelp, "T-Take me back."
Did he really need to point out the fact that he couldn't get onto his feet? His arms were numb except when he tried to move them. Then he felt a throbbing pain that took his breath away. Besides that, if he didn't stop the blood flow soon, he would pass out.

The harpy was less than pleased at the wounds she'd suffered. She let out an ear-splitting keen of rage, flying up before dive bombing at Sebastian to try and snatch her prey back from its savior's arms, bloody claws ready to sink back into soft and vulnerable flesh. But he wouldn't have any of that. Cocooning Ciel in his arms, Sebastian sidestepped her attack, narrowly avoiding puncture wounds to his own shoulder. As she swerved around to to fly at him again, Sebastian leaped up and back-flipped, landing hard on her wings with a sickening crunch. With her flight immobilized, she ran into the ground, allowing Sebastian to jump away to safety. And yet...
"She can heal her wings," he noted with mild interest, watching the bone pop out of odd angles back to how they were supposed to be. "If that's the case, then let us retreat, Young Master." With that, Sebastian darted away from the scene back to the mansion.

It figured that she could regenerate. Wrinkling his nose in distaste, he tried to ignore the steady throbbing of his wounds. The sensation was bound to make him sick eventually.
"Agreed." he murmured, closing his eyes to will the nausea away.
