Log; [Yuri begins the morning as always - wake up early to head to the forest and train, spill sweat and blood, get his mind completely distracted from the problems at hand for a handful of hours. Sometimes he sees Leon amongst the trees, but for the most part he's completely alone, facing various beasts and monsters that lurk the forest.

Afterward, he takes his usual shower (for once dries his hair because it gives him something to do). He hasn't seen Flynn all day, but he knows he will eventually.

And that time comes quicker than expected when he walks into the kitchen to see the blond cooking breakfast. For a moment, he stares. He can tell things are back to normal, now.

He crosses the room quickly.]

[ Flynn is in the middle of adding soy sauce and mayonnaise to his still-in-the-pan omelette when Yuri enters the kitchen. ]

Good Morning, Yuri.

[ He starts. It's Monday now, and he's aware that he must have been cursed during the weekend. He's not entirely sure what that curse was, however... ]

[And it's only ever around Flynn that he feels comfortable letting go - he looks as unsettled as he did the entire weekend, a mixture of guilt, regret, and all the little things he tries to keep at bay. Because those emotions are useless, they never change a thing. He prefers to move forward.

But he's human, too. And as he shuts off the stove, he grabs Flynn's arm roughly, angrily, before he aims a punch to Flynn's face.]

Anyone ever mention you have the worst timing?

[ Flynn is surprised, yes, but his reflexes act before his mind can register Yuri's attack. He dodges and automatically throws a punch of his own that lands... ]

Yuri! Are you alright?

[rubs at his cheek]

What do you think, asshole?

[ He frowns at his friend. It's your fault, Yuri ~~even if he does feel guilty for landing that blow in~~. ]

Serves you right for attacking me without warning.

[ He says calmly, though it's without any form of malice. ]

So first you don't remember dying-

[Grabs the front of Flynn's top, pulling him closer]

-And now you don't even remember why I should be pissed off at you.

[ Oh, Yuri~ If he'd had a hint of joking earlier, he doesn't now. He grows serious at the mention of Certain Things (tm). He lets Yuri keep at that pulling-closer business, but takes on a quieter tone. ]

Something did happen during the weekend, didn't it?

[He rests his forehead on Flynn's shoulder. He never thought he'd miss this bastard, but god damn the other Flynn is such a pain in the ass. While he was glad this Flynn didn't have to see that memory...he also didn't need that headache on top of everything else.]

Where the hell were you.

I was here.

[ Flynn replies simply because he can't remember going back or anywhere else. And then he looks down and frowns a bit. ]

At least, I think I must have been in some way or another. Tell me what happened.

[ He knows Yuri enough to recognize that whatever had happened in the weekend must have been serious. ]

[Takes a deep breath, finding brief resolve in the other's strength and solidness - his warmth. Flynn is alive. Definitely alive. And this is the Flynn he knows and has known since childhood.]

You were cursed.

[A smirk]

Apparently thought you had a dad again.

[ Flynn thinks.

Then he mirrors that smirk on Yuri's face with a small smile, just to even things out, though he was, really, still concerned. ~~Yuri didn't lean on anyone's shoulder on anything without reason.~~ ]

That isn't all, is it?

That's nothing new.

[ He remembers the last time that happened, at least... To an extent. ]

Remember what I said about not remembering you died?

[Takes a step back, takes a breath.]

The City decided to screw around with us again.

A memory...

The City showed it again, didn't it, Yuri?

[ He frowns. He should have been present for that... and what's more, Lady Estellise- ]

How did Lady Estellise take it?

[ He's worried about you too, Yuri, but he knows he doesn't need to ask you to show he's worried :( ]

Well, she cried.

[And he felt super awkward about it. He does not know how to deal with crying women!]

Didn't help that we didn't exactly get along, either.

I hope I wasn't too hard on you.

[ He has a feeling he was, though... ]

We didn't end up crossing swords again, did we?

No. But I almost wish we did.

[Places a hand on his hip. It would have been easier to deal with if just swords were involved.]

[Estelle enters the kitchen, hesitating when she sees Flynn and Yuri talking. It certainly seems like Flynn is himself again, but she isn't sure if she's interrupting something.]

Good morning.

[It's almost more of a question than a greeting.]

I can never beat you in words, but you do remember I can and have when it comes to our swords.

[ He reminds him with a slightly playful tone.

And then Estellise comes in B) ]

Ah- Good Morning, Lady Estellise.

[ bright smile here. Totes the real Flynn n_n ]

[Gives Flynn a look. They can discuss this later. Because if he recalls- the other Flynn doesn't know how to use blastia. He turns to Estelle with a smile.]

Hey. You're up early.

[Estelle is very obviously relieved at their greetings. She missed their Flynn.]

Yes!

[A pause!]

Is someone cooking? It smells very...

[Strange.]

Interesting!

It does, doesn't it? I've added mayonnaise and soy sauce to my omelette. I still have some sliced carrots to put into it.

[ n_n ]

It's okay if you don't want to eat it, Estelle. I know it's hard.

[elbows Flynn. You nasty cook.]

[Mayonnaise and soy sauce...

BUT SHE WILL TRY IT. IT'S ONLY POLITE.]

Oh, no, I'd love to try your omelette, Flynn!

[She pauses, clasping her hands in front of herself.]

I'm very glad you're back.

[ is elbowed :( Yuri! It may taste really good! You never know :( ]
