Characters; Tyr, Gremio, whoever took Gremio's open invitation, and anyone else! You guys should most definitely mingle in this post!
Summary; Gremio invites people to celebrate Tyr's birthday. The City doubles emotions as a gift. This can't go wrong.

[ Tyr was usually happy on his birthday. It was his birthday! And this time, he had Gremio and Ted with him. That, obviously, was why Tyr was downright giddy when he left his room, not dressed or groomed any differently than usual, but wow, was he ever happy to be alive. There was a little jump in his step as he entered the room.

And what a room. Usually, Tyr thought Gremio outdid himself, but this time, he could honestly say Gremio had. He could smell the food cooking, and there was more on the tables and Tyr didn't think the City had this many streamers. ]

[He may have been a little unsure seeing that Klarth had already been indulging himself, but pride over his preparations tookt over.]

Oh, I'm glad you think so. I certainly couldn't allow an unsatisfactory spread on the young master's birthday!

[He beamed and set down two wine glass, which he began to fill.]

[Klarth lightly chuckled to that as he watched him pour.]

It's been a while since I've had a grand meal such as that.

[Once Gremio was done, he took a glass and gently circled it as he made a comment.]

I made certain to find a well aged one. I hope you'll approve of it.

In that case, you simple must attend his next birthday, too! [Because he'll be making another feast for that one, as always.

With the wine poured, Gremio swirled his glass and took a sip. The appreciative smile he gave Klarth definitely spoke his approval.]

Oh, it's certainly wonderful. You made a splendid choice.

[He gave a smile to that though truthfully he hoped that none of them would have to be in this world for it. The thought of thinking that perhaps this is the first and last birthday of Tyr's he'd be attending reflected a slight sadness in his eyes. Ah well, much like how he needed to prepare for the departure of his friends back at home, this was no different. Besides... this was not a time to be thinking of such things. Perhaps his age was making him feel more sentimental. He gave a soft sigh, one he hoped Gremio didn't notice.

Reinforcing his smile to the man's compliment, he playfully laughed.]

Ah, knowledge comes with age as well after all, ha ha ha.

[He took a sip and gave an approving hum as well then peered an eye towards Gremio.]

Speaking of birthdays~ Have you done what I've asked you to do, hm?

[He teased.]

[If Gremio noticed anything, he kept it to himself. He was well aware that any of them could leave at any time, but he preferred not to dwell on it so his smile stayed in place.]

I certainly agree. If you don't mind my asking, how old are you, Klarth?

[He took another sip himself, partly to give himself a moment to think. Birthdays--that's right.]

Y-yes, I did promise, didn't I? I'm not entirely certain it's correct, but--June the second, I believe.

Hm, mine?

[He nervously laughed though, truly there was no need to hide it. He placed a warm smile and softly spoke.]

Twenty nine.

Oh~ next month then. And how old will you be turning?

Ah, I see. You've certainly had a few more years to gain experiences.

[It was rather strange to think that he and Klarth were now further apart in age than Gremio was from Tyr. How strange indeed.]

Yes, I suppose it is, isn't it? I'll be twenty-five myself.

[Such as he figured, though the way he said it made him feel even older.]

Twenty-five, hm~ A good year. A quarter of a century of knowledge makes a world of a difference. How long have you serviced Tyr for then?

I have been in Master Teo's, and especially the young master's, service for almost eleven years.

[This brought a fond, nostalgic smile to his face, although it was also a little wistful.]

Ah, but--From the young master's point of view, it has been a lot longer.

He must be an honorable man if you've loyally served him for that long.

Hm? [Klarth raised a brow as he took another swig.]

How so?

Absolutely. They are both great, kind, and fair men. It has been my honour to serve them all these years.

[He said it with the utmost conviction. The question, however, made him pause a moment before he tried to explain.]

...How should I put this? --The young master has come to the City from a point in time several years ahead of mine. I suppose you could say that I'm from his past. I-it's a little strange to think about, really...

Ah, in that manner. [He comprehended now despite being slightly wasted.]

So I've heard from others as well. A significant time lapse where people are pulled from different time periods.

[He had to smile at that thought though considering all of this friends are from different time periods as well in his own world.]

Though that's something I'm far too familiar with in my world. Perhaps the deities here are capable of using the same time travel ability.

[Gremio, who'd had slightly less to drink as of yet, nodded in agreement. However, he was slightly curious...]

Klarth, are you familiar with time travel in your own world?

Certainly. Though of course with the help from Origin, a summon spirit I've managed to form a pact with.

[He widened his eyes as if he's dawned on something and then weakly smiled.]

Ah, I don't think I've ever mentioned it to you, Gremio. I'm a summoner and a scholar with my research focused on the art of it.

[He gave a gentle pat down onto the book on the table slightly before him as he quietly mumbled.]

Playing my little part of this lifetime.

[Quickly finishing his drink to come out of his own little world, he delightfully sighed and laughed out loud while offering him more to drink.]

Ah~ Come now! We should make a toast to your young master. Here here~

A summon spirit, you say?

[He was aware that there were summoning practices in his world; they weren't very familiar to him, though.]

My, that's--I had no idea that it would be possible. T-time traveling...

[Of course, Klarth's suggestion is one Gremio immediately took to, and he happily held out his glass.]

Ah--Yes, you're quite right. We simply must do a toast for him!

[He smiled and happily poured him some more.]

What shall it be then? A little speech, Gremio.

[He encouraged as he then took his own glass to pour more.]

Let's see...

[He swirled the wine gently while he decided on something, but there was just so much he wanted to say...]

To my most dear and honourable young master...I wish for good health and, above all, all the happiness he deserves! For Young Master Tyr!

[And with that excited cheer, Gremio proceeded to drain his entire glass. Whoops.]

Ha ha ha, well said!

[He chuckled and took a good swig himself when he saw the man empty his glass in one gulp.Impressed, he pushed for more.]

Oh~ that's a nice one, Gremio~! Here here~ have some more! [As he started to pour more into his glass]

Drink drink! It's for the young master!
