Summary; Nepeta is at the hospital because she got hurt in the Gamzee plot! This is pretty much here in case anyone wants to visit her. She is very beat up, but still trying to be pawsitive.

[Nepeta had finally woken up to... be in a weird human building of some kind? Weirddddd. Even if she hurt because of all the injuries and... kinda had a hard time walking and her head really hurt and all that, it was still pretty interesting!

Aside from that, though, there was one thing she really disliked about the place aside from the fact that she was here while she was hurt.

It was so boring.]

[There's a big grin when she sees Tamaki and Mizuno! She's super happy to see them.]

Heehee, I like visitors! It makes this place less boring. And I'm going to be okay now! The doctors won't let me walk around like I want to though.

[Mizuno waves- it's easier to pretend nothing bad happened when Nepeta is awake, after all, and she's able to ignore the signs of what had knocked her unconscious.

And Mr. Tamaki's flowers were so nice, and-]

Taking a nap would be good, though, right?

[Bright, cheery- act like it never happened.]

And now everyone comes to visit you!

[ It almost makes him laugh, really, how well they're taking this, both of them. This is more Kyouya's realm than Tamaki's - the place of a person who can place his feelings in neat compartments, rather than play pretend. As things are, Tamaki keeps glancing between the two, trying his best to look at ease. ]

Have the doctors said when you might be signed out, Miss Nepeta? Do you need anything?

[ Almost as an afterthought, but not quite. ]

Karkat will be pleased to know you're doing so well.

But a nap would be boring! [Especially since she's so active, although... maybe a nap wouldn't be a bad idea, and she'd just do it after Tamaki and Mizuno left.]

They haven't said anything to me yet, but I don't need anything right now! [A pause, though, at the mention of Karkat.] ... How is Karkitty doing?

Mmm...

[Mizuno couldn't argue- a nap would be boring, right? But it would pass the time, and soon, then, it would be time to leave and once you left a place like this behind you could just pretend... it never happened at all.]

If you do need anything later though, you have to let us know, right?

[But she couldn't answer about Karkat, instead looking to Tamaki, smiling all the while.]

[ And now it comes to the uglier parts. The truth might burden; the lie might offend. He decides for something in-between. ]

Ah, Karkat - as well as can be imagined. Everyone's been worried about you, Miss Nepeta, but...

[ He smiles, just a little studied. ]

I'm sure you'll recover so swiftly, we'll have no reason to do so again, won't you? Now, do you happen to remember anything about the day of your --- incident?

[She nods enthusiastically about the whole thing with them being willing to help her! Or, at least, as enthusiastically as she can for the time being. She pauses when she hears what Tamaki is saying, though, and tilts her head.]

I remember working on my wall in Xanadu! [Another pause.] And I remember the fight that I had with Gamzee!

[A fight.

If it was a fight, it wasn't a fall. And she did so want to think it had been just a fall. Not that she could truly, deep down, after finding her like she did.

But she wanted to pretend.

So Mizuno just kept smiling, standing, like she was just giving the floor to Tamaki, that's all, just letting those two talk.]

[ It's almost to be thanked that Mizuno falters, because it's a reminder that at least one of them has to stand strong, and it can't be him. Well enough. He's all smiles, really. ]

I see. That's quite unfortunate, isn't it? Among friends especially. Of course, unfortunate accidents happen. And we'll make sure to speak with Gamzee at once. I'm sure he's overcome with misery about everything that happened, what with things getting out of hand.

[ ...but better relieve Mizuno of all this first. He glances her way. ]

The doctor said for us not to bother Miss Nepeta too long, didn't he? It might be best to excuse ourselves.

[Nepeta's observant enough to notice that something feels a little off after she says that, but she doesn't say anything about it.]

It should be okay now that he has sopurr slime again! You don't have to talk to him unless you really want to. [And... she's scared of Gamzee now, too-- after seeing him like that, who wouldn't be? Gamzee had always been silly and fun to talk to! And then he wasn't once he didn't have sopor slime. Karkat was right when he freaked out about it to her and Equius back in the Veil. She wants to stay cheerful though, because Tamaki and Mizuno seem to be staying somewhat cheerful, too-- at least, they're trying.]

Only if you come back later!

If we're allowed to come again... Mizuno will come.

[Sometimes it was "I" and sometimes it was "Mizuno". Like how Marino always said "Mizuno"- disjointed, slightly odd. But fine enough for now, with how she smiled.]

I'll bring something to eat- everyone always says hospital food is no good! I don't know if it's no good, but...
