Summary; Two people have a Cephiroan binding ceremony, a wedding, and then we hold a party. It's been a long time coming, but worth the wait.
Log; Presea shut her eyes and let out a deep breath. She was a little nervous, although she wasn't sure why, exactly. This was what she wanted. It was what she'd wanted for a long time. Maybe it was just going out there in front of everyone. She wasn't much of a performer and she wasn't used to any sort of audience, especially for something that was as private as this. Clef and Presea tended to keep their romance out of the public eye. But today they were showing it to everyone. She was showing everyone how much she loved him.
She fussed with her ponytail a little. She still had a couple minutes. If Umi was here, she'd be flailing around with last minute ideas and questions and encouragement. She'd been so excited when they announced it, and so happy to be asked to join in. But Umi was gone now... she'd been gone for almost a week, and Presea could hardly believe it, even still. She kept walking by the dark bedroom and expecting to see Umi pop her head out, or to come in after morning practice, sweaty and happy. It was, perhaps, bad timing for a binding ceremony, but she and Clef had talked about it, and she knew that if Umi ever found out that they'd delayed it over her own disappearance, she'd scold Presea like it was going out of style. Umi was a romantic, at heart. She'd be disappointed if she came back and had missed it, but she'd be even more vehement if they put it off for her sake.
So Umi wasn't here, and neither was Fuu, and the others that had once stayed with them. People came and went, but you had to hang onto the good things while you had them.
With that in mind, Presea left the little shelter and headed toward the gazebo, beautifully decorated with green and white ribbons. She'd meet Clef at the end of the aisle, and then there wouldn't be any time for worries. Just happiness.

I can has tagging in here?
He closed his eyes and took a second to clear his mind, reflecting on the fact that when he saw Presea his nervousness would probably dissolve anyway. That was usually how these things worked - not that he knew from specific experience with this exact situation, mind. Nevertheless, he found himself wishing for the first time in at least several decades that he had a flask on him.
no, nevar
When she saw Clef, she increased her pace a little, grinning brightly as she approached him, almost reaching out for his hand. But it wasn't time for that, not yet: the binding would be the time to take that and make her promise.
Together, they walked down the aisle toward the dais, where Hikaru and Lantis waited. From the soft way she looked at him, though, they might have been here alone.
post-ceremony reception; open
In fact, she's probably headed in your way right now, grinning brightly.
post-ceremony reception; open
Curiosity about how the closed ceremony was going soon gave way to relief when the smiling happy faces of the wedding party appeared. If they were so happy then it must have gone well! The Commander stepped forward once it seemed appropriate to offer his best wishes.
“Congratulations, Presea!” He smiles as he takes just a moment to take in the sight of such a happy bride.

"Thank you, Eagle," she said. "Thanks for coming. We really do appreciate it."

“It's no trouble at all. It is good to see you both looking so content. I wouldn‘t have wanted to miss that.”

“Hey, they are finally here!” She announced to her audience of one, herself, before hopping down from her chair, cream puff in hand and bouncing over to Presea too. “Did it work? Are you married now!?”

She lifted a wrist decorated with green and white ribbons. She and Clef had untangled themselves after the ceremony was finished -- after all, it would be a little difficult to remained tied together all afternoon -- but she would keep those on until the next day, at least.
