It was early evening when Flynn finally returned home, and just as he'd thought, Yuri was out at the beach, venting his frustrations at one of the bigger (or used to be) rocks. With a sigh, he headed straight for the beach then, figuring out that it would probably be better if they met, and spoke about what he just did with Sodia, outside the shotahouse. It wouldn't do to cause more damage to their already-abused home. He had a feeling that Sodia already went to Yuri earlier to apologize, and he doubted that had gone well. Truthfully, he hadn't expected it would.

They had spoken about this days ago, and Yuri had been clear about not pursuing the topic anymore. If anything, it seemed then that Yuri preferred if they just forgot about that incident. Flynn could not abide by that. At the very least, Sodia had to acknowledge, take responsibility, and apologize for what she'd done. If it weren't for some stroke of luck, Yuri could have died... and Flynn could not imagine braving the future without his friend.

Though their paths now could not be more different, with Yuri opting to follow the way the Guilds provided, Flynn believed that Yuri was instrumental in creating a better world for everyone. Yuri, likely, didn't think he was important, but Flynn believed. In many ways, after all, Yuri had already done enough in changing the world...

His steps sunk slightly into the sand as he approached Yuri, and when he was within earshot, he called for his friend.

"Yuri..."

And then he braced for whatever Yuri had in store for him. Fortunately, he was sure the rock had already taken the brunt of it, at least...
