Hearing the movement from the other side of the door, she easily figured that Ikuto was in her room. "Ikuto? Did you end up locking this or something?"

"Maybe," he said, holding this off for the moment.

"I'm not sure if I should," he said, not letting her know that he didn't actually lock it.

"Exactly the reason why I'm not sure if I should," he simply shrugged, opening up the diary casually.

"Dear Diary,
This is really confusing. I met that one guy again and I can't help but think he's cute and--
What is even with me? I already have someone I like yet-- ugh, Another guy? Really? This is stupid and not even in character of me."
He didn't even have to continue on. Besides, he was too busy trying not to laugh a little at this. "So who's this one guy you're talking about. Here I thought you liked me," he said, teasing her. He managed to make himself sound hurt about it.

Her face was was completely flushed from how embarrassed she felt. However the fact he was in her room, reading her diary made her feel both annoyed and upset at the situation and that was obvious in her voice "H-Hey! That's...none of your business!"

"Oh? You know, this is pretty good stuff," he grinned, teasing her a bit, "By the way, I didn't lock the door."

He gave it to Yoru to set it on the roof. He attempted to open the door once again, but there was no luck.

When he couldn't get the door open, he just sighed. He started out the window and up to the roof. He originally though that he could prove to her that he couldn't get it, but he just decided to lay on the roof.

The lack of response surprised her, though recalling the tone of his voice as he answered her, it made her felt bad accusing him like that if he really was serious.
She slowly stood back up again, she was ready to just try and head towards some other part of the house, but instead she gave the door one try and just like that it opened. She stared at it in surprise, as she opened it, "Now it works? What's even going on? This is way too weird"

"I don't know," he called out, figuring she'd find him on the roof anyways. He grabbed the diary, setting it off to the side for now. He pulled out the piece of paper that Yoru handed him earlier, finally reading it.

It's really weird to be back in this place again. Especially since we both left together that time-- and somehow this places pulled me back in again, and with my memories too.
It really is ironic that I finally figured out my feelings like a few days before that too and from a curse too-- even if you didn't think I was serious at first. But I guess that's my fault for being taking almost two years of being here? But a lot did happen after all.
You'd better not let it get to your head that I'm going to miss you while you're gone, even from this place-- but I'm going to be okay. Even if you did win your bet, I still have to keep my part of my promise in the meantime.
Yeah. I don't even know why I'm writing this. This is dumb, it's not like I'm planning on giving this to you anyway, whether you do remember or not if this place does decide to send you back here--
It ended there. He felt sort of glad to see some of this, but most of it made him a little sad. She had thought about all this before. He left her behind. Why did he leave her behind? He needed to find his father but... when she was here all alone... At the very least, back home she had her friends and family. Here, she had nobody. So why...?
"Yeah... I'm outside...," he said dryly, folding the note again.
