When; August 4th, afternoon → midnight
Rating; PG
Characters; Amu and Ikuto
Summary; Altair and Vega curse...in which, yeah this should be self-explanatory. Amu and Ikuto are just trying to figure out how to deal with it in the meantime.
Log;

Amu had been out of most of the morning getting some errands done, and it was just at that moment she finally arrives back at her apartment. After putting some things away on the table for moment, she heads to her room to relax a bit.

She tries to open the door but for some reason she's not having much luck "Huh? This is weird, how come this is locked now?"

Ikuto knew that he should have probably gotten defensive at being accused, but he couldn't help but to chuckle. He could actually use this weird situation to his advantage. He had to tease her somehow, after all. He threw a pillow at Yoru as he shot up from his cat nap. Silently, he directed Yoru to look for anything interesting.

"Maybe," he said, holding this off for the moment.

Ikuto looked to Yoru, watching him float about. He mouthed to Yoru to find something interesting... say like a diary. He noticed Yoru find a paper finally, taking it from him and putting it in his pocket for the moment. He beckoned him to look on.

"I'm not sure if I should," he said, not letting her know that he didn't actually lock it.

He chuckled at her comment. It was clear that she was starting to get annoyed. He'd done his purpose well. He glanced to Yoru as he saw him pulling at something. A small book; A diary perhaps? He put on a catlike smirk has Yoru finally got it, taking the book. Any lock of some sort..? Oh, it looked like it didn't have one. Lovely~

"Exactly the reason why I'm not sure if I should," he simply shrugged, opening up the diary casually.

Ikuto didn't answer her question. Instead, he was busy reading her diary, snickering a little. He raised his brows at a particular entry. Her birthday was in September? He'd have to remember that. He flipped through the pages to look for more interesting entries.... AKA more embarrassing stuff. He let out a laugh reading one.

"Dear Diary,

This is really confusing. I met that one guy again and I can't help but think he's cute and--

What is even with me? I already have someone I like yet-- ugh, Another guy? Really? This is stupid and not even in character of me."

He didn't even have to continue on. Besides, he was too busy trying not to laugh a little at this. "So who's this one guy you're talking about. Here I thought you liked me," he said, teasing her. He managed to make himself sound hurt about it.

He obviously couldn't see her face, but he just assumed she was embarrassed. Yoru continued to look around, but he noticed that he couldn't find anything else. He shrugged, reading on in her diary.

"Oh? You know, this is pretty good stuff," he grinned, teasing her a bit, "By the way, I didn't lock the door."

He ignored her first part, talking about how he should just stay out. Technically speaking, he should have, but what fun would that be? He shrugged, even though she couldn't hear a shrug. "No idea," he said.

"Would you like me to try again?" he asked, closing the diary.

He gave it to Yoru to set it on the roof. He attempted to open the door once again, but there was no luck.

"I didn't lock it...," he repeated himself dryly.

When he couldn't get the door open, he just sighed. He started out the window and up to the roof. He originally though that he could prove to her that he couldn't get it, but he just decided to lay on the roof.

[identity profile] deviantstray.livejournal.com 2011-08-14 06:10 am (UTC)(link)
He made himself comfortable on the roof like he had so many other times. As odd as it may have seemed to others, he actually found it pretty comfortable at times. That, or he just got used to it. No one ever checked the roof when they were trying to find him. He'd go to the roof every time his mother went for him.

"I don't know," he called out, figuring she'd find him on the roof anyways. He grabbed the diary, setting it off to the side for now. He pulled out the piece of paper that Yoru handed him earlier, finally reading it.

Escaping to the roof worked many times with his mother. Apparently it worked for the girl too. He didn't say anything right away because he was too caught up in the letter. He was looking for something interesting, and he got that. However, it didn't mean that it was necessarily a good thing. This letter was obviously meant for him because his name was on the envelope, but it's contents kind of bugged him.

It's really weird to be back in this place again. Especially since we both left together that time-- and somehow this places pulled me back in again, and with my memories too.

It really is ironic that I finally figured out my feelings like a few days before that too and from a curse too-- even if you didn't think I was serious at first. But I guess that's my fault for being taking almost two years of being here? But a lot did happen after all.

You'd better not let it get to your head that I'm going to miss you while you're gone, even from this place-- but I'm going to be okay. Even if you did win your bet, I still have to keep my part of my promise in the meantime.

Yeah. I don't even know why I'm writing this. This is dumb, it's not like I'm planning on giving this to you anyway, whether you do remember or not if this place does decide to send you back here--

It ended there. He felt sort of glad to see some of this, but most of it made him a little sad. She had thought about all this before. He left her behind. Why did he leave her behind? He needed to find his father but... when she was here all alone... At the very least, back home she had her friends and family. Here, she had nobody. So why...?

"Yeah... I'm outside...," he said dryly, folding the note again.

He simply shrugged, "Fine with me." He really didn't expect her to come out anyways. His mind went back to the note. He thought for a moment before saying anything more. "I'm sorry I left you alone," he said, but it was almost difficult to hear. She would probably manage to hear it, though.

He didn't say anything right away. He gave off a sigh. "Yoru found a note. A note that apparently regards me," that's all he's saying. He just stared at the sky.
