Summary;  It's a joint birthday party bonfire extravaganza!
 

 

[ It's Stephen and Summer's birthday! There's a bonfire lit, chairs surrounding it. There's a keg on ice with lots of cups, various types of liquor, and a small table that has hot dogs, sticks to roast the hot dogs with. And there are also S'mores fixings: marshmellows, chocolate, and graham crackers. Party on, people, party on.]

[Stephen has also provided veggie hotdogs, which is clearly labeled on the table. He is lounging in one of the muskoka chairs by the fire, a beer in hand, feeding the fire a new log every few minutes.]

[Rose hasn't seen Stephen since the family curse event and she's not normally one for parties. But even though he's not actually her father she feels somewhat obliged to show up to this gathering. She's clutching a smallish box wrapped in purple paper]

[Jill arrives with Lucy, a manilla envelope in hand. She hangs back for a long time, giving Stephen time with the other guests before she goes over to him.]

Hey! Thanks for coming. You want.a beer?

[Once Lucy gets her margarita on the rocks, she heads over to say hello to Stephen. She catches him in a one armed hug, clinging precariously to her margarita.]

[Stephen may get a little bit of margarita on his shirt, but he's not complaining.]

[Stephen spots him lurking in the shadows as he is wont to do. He tips his beer bottle towards him and gives him a small smile.]

[After a while, Ryan does some wandering around the party. He catches sight of Stephen and sits down beside him with one of those manly chin-jerk greetings.]

[Neil is wandering around, being wallflower-y and awkward and trying not to think about the last time he was at a beach. But hey, he has to find his bestest buddy and hand over the gift bag he's carrying so he can free up his hands for food.]

[Summer is sitting by the fire, legs crossed, a smile on her face as she watches the party progress, just enjoying the party. Feel free to bug her!]

[Ryan helped set things up then showered and changed into a pair of cargo shorts and a tee shirt. He grabs a soda from the cooler and finds Summer by the fire. He sits down behind her, arms going around her.]

[She grins at him as he settles next to her, shifting so she can be close to him as he wraps his arms around her.] Yeah. You know me and bonfire parties. [She presses a kiss to his cheek.] Are you having fun?

[Showing up a little later than planned, Derek quickly finds Summer to wish his friend a happy birthday. He spies her by the fire and moves over there closer to the flames.]

Hey sweetheart. How's the birthday girl?

Hey Derek. [She spies Derek and moves to stand with a grin, brushing the stand off her shorts] I'm great. Thanks for coming!

[Lucy is a few margaritas in when she sees Summer sitting by the fire, she smiles at her and sits down in the sand next to her.]

You're Summer, right? It's your birthday too.

[Bonfire party! Hanna is super pumped, and has a cooler with him as he shows up to the beach. He's got beer and soda, and cupcakes! And, of course, a present for his bro Stephen.]

[Lucy shows up with Jill dressed appropriately (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=35453479) for a beach party. First stop, naturally is to make margaritas on the rocks. She'll stick to gathering around the fire for the most part. Stop her and talk or she'll stop you.]
