Trolldown [semi-open]
When; August 7th (backdated, obviously)
Rating; PG-13 maybe? There will be violence and also overpowered weaponry
Characters; Rose Lalonde, Eridan Ampora and if someone wants to step in after a bit to stop them destroying each other completely that'd be ideal.
Summary; What happens when resentment over a loved one's murder is crossed with increased violent urges? If you're Rose, hunting down Eridan and making him pay
Log;
Rose could feel the blind rage swirling through her as she stormed through the city streets, heading straight for the beach. Ever since she'd first found out about Eridan's hand in Kanaya's death she had found her resentment towards him growing far beyond the mild irritation she had felt towards him back before they had come to the City but she was used enough to repressing such extreme emotion that she'd been content with simple verbal snark towards him.
The first step towards that changing had been the City turning her into a troll and a highblood at that. Even for Rose, it was difficult to outright ignore the thirst for violence that flowed through her veins and her ability to tolerate minor irritants had diminished. Then Karkat had inadvertently broadcast the memory of Kanaya's murder and seeing for herself what Eridan had done had pushed her temper to boiling point. That Eridan had chosen to challenge her only made this fight all the more inevitable.
As she reached the beach her eyes scanned for any sign of the sea-troll. She gripped her needlewands tightly, poised to strike and anger radiating from her. When she saw Eridan, she walked closer and sent an initial blast of energy as her greeting, narrowly missing him on purpose. That was her hello; from here on out she wouldn't be so forgiving.

He was standing on the beach, ready for shouted insults to begin with, and he flinched slightly when the energy shot by him. He liked her style, though. No wasting time, just straight into the fucking battle. Tilting his rifle forward, he lifted and shouldered it, pointing the flaming tip at Rose. Either she'd block it or she wasn't worth his rivalry. He aimed it to miss her upper half, anyway, just in case, and then pulled down on the trigger.

Lifting her wands once more she sent another blast towards him, this one clearly intended as more than a warning.

He was good, she'd grant him that. But not good enough.
She gathered her focus once more, this time aiming for the rifle itself as she sent across a blast of dark energy.
