Blue lit night
Who; Aion (
jiyuna_togabito) and you~!
What; Enjoying the music and coming to see Jill perform. Anyone to join him for a nice evening~
Where; Blue Light in Overground
When; August 25, evening
Rating; PG-13
Log;
A quiet Thursday evening. It seemed as though his mind was everywhere these days. Perhaps a relaxing night was in order. An easy task and what better way to spend such an evening but by scouting out a place with good music. He recalled Jill performing this night too. A good way to start a conversation with anyone who'd care to join him and the perfect ice breaker to pry. A small hole in the wall type place. He was certain he was bound to meet someone interesting.
Dressed in his usual white attire, he sat in a private booth with a drink before him as he stared off towards the stage.

She stands, finishing her drink and moves to the bar to get a refill. Tonight she's wearing a nice black halter-top dress that sinks kind of low in the back. Lucy had once told her she had a nice back and it had unfortunately gone straight to her head, seeing as she didn't often get compliments from people. Of course since she had never met Aion, she wasn't sure if he was even here. So she just waited for her drink and turned her back to the bar to lean against it and look over the patrons of The Blue Light for the evening.

"Bravo. Your performance was magnificent, Jill Leighton."
[ooc; Omg, I'm terribly sorry for the delay! OTL]
no subject
"Aion?"
ooc: It's okay! *hugs*
no subject
"You have quite the talent."
[ooc: Thank you =TTWTT= <333 /huggles]
no subject
"Oh, thank you. I'm glad you could make it. Did it turn out to be your kind of music?"
no subject
He waved the bartender over to refill his drink before glancing her way again. It wouldn't be the first, considering which he was from.

She of course realizes she's talking so much and blushes profusely, clearing her throat and more than glad when the bar tender places her bloody mary drink on the bar top for her. She gulps down a big drink of it and then offers Aion a small, apologetic smile. "Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it somewhat. I love playing. It always calms me down... makes things as right as they can be."
no subject
"Calm hmm... Are things often not as right as you say?" Aion encouraged for her to continue as he took a sip of his own drink.
no subject
When he smiled, she offered a small smile in return. "Oh well... I'm just kind of a mess on the inside. You know... not right. But when I'm around a piano everything's okay. Which is weird, I know..."
no subject
"..What sort of mess?" he softly prodded more to clarify his thoughts. His eyes focused on hers, giving her his undivided attention. Something women seem to always desire and fall for.
no subject
"Uhm... the emotional... psychological kind of mess. You know, not normal." She considered that a brief moment with a quick sip of her drink. "Although here 'normal' seems to be on a whole other scale."
no subject
"What does it matter, what's normal and isn't? It's a single opinion of another and nothing more." he calmly stated with a small sigh. "Aren't all creatures meant to do what comes natural to them?" The corner of his lips curled to that. That's right. Don't feel... act.
no subject
She looked back up to Aion as she sipped at her drink again and offered him a small smile along with a slight shrug of her shoulders. "What's your opinion? Do I seem normal to you? You seem normal to me." Of course her ideas of normality and the alternative were somewhat skewed. And as an afterthought she adds something else. "I like your hair."
no subject
Her last comment made him snicker a bit as she had pointed out one of the least normal thing about him. Even this skin... "You seem as well, though truly, I've yet to find out now, don't I?" he playfully answered. She may be human but was she one of the "gifted" ones was the real question.
no subject
"The only thing I really excel at is the piano." And of course then she realizes she's under-selling herself the way Lucy always said she did. So she adds something else. "And... watching... football. I'm good at that too. Oh and running. I run pretty well, in a normal running kind of way." Cause some people here had super speed.
no subject
"Then how about, what is it you desire?"
no subject
"Uhm..." She tilts her head and pushes the messy waves of her hair back behind her ears. Instead of continue to slip into those shadowy thoughts, she decided to ask him to clarify. "What do you mean?"
no subject
"Is there nothing you desire?" he gave it another shot with a bit of a forced smile. "I was under the impression that a girl of your age has plenty." He attempted to take control of her attention by staring into her eyes. She was too good at avoidance.
"Nothing that you would do anything in the world for?" the devil seductively spoke his words.
no subject
The way he was looking at her now, it was a little mesmerizing and when she looked up, her eyes locked with his. Eye contact wasn't something she often made and held onto. But she did with him for now.
"Maybe for Lucy to be happy. She deserves happiness." Jill answers him. "She's my best friend, like a sister. I don't really deserve her but she's always been there, you know?"
no subject
"And for yourself?" he edged her on, attempting to juggle her mind.
no subject
"Mmm... maybe to be more self-confident, like Lucy. She's... I mean she just puts herself out there without even thinking twice." Jill shrugs. "Me? I second guess everything I do. I'm always looking for an angle with other people. Like why they do things, or..." Her eyes narrow a bit, a corner of her lips tugging upward. "Like why you're even talking to me."
no subject
He couldn't help but laugh a little louder at that point. "Why am I even talking to you, huh, ha ha ha." he playfully repeated. He partially wondered why as well though even if it didn't mean much, he had a motive nonetheless. "To find a good resource, of course. Make connections, find out who they are, what they do. Where they stand." he darkly spoke his last sentence.
"Often times people are driven on a motive and persevere towards it. Whether it be something they do or say." His lips curled to the last. "Shall I guess why you're speaking to me?"
no subject
"My motive? I guess it's to get lost. It's safer when you're lost... in music or in a movie or in a book. Things are better there." Which probably made no sense to anyone but herself. But Jill had always been a little different than most humans. It was why she didn't have many friends. She was the weird, broody, dark, emo chick. "I think you're interesting. But why do you think I'm speaking with you?"
no subject
"To push those barriers and live for once." he began with amusement heard in his voice. "Seeking a strength which will allow you to break free of those thoughts. A different sort of escape, one could put it. Humans have always innately desired power, asking themselves what if more than doing it. A weakness they have that requires assistance to overcome, don't you agree?"
