EXPEDITION PLOT | moments of wonder
When; September 10th.
Rating; R for swearing. Hopefully no violence.
Characters; Luke, Asch, Guy, Jade, Tear, Dean, Sasuke, Yuri, Dave, Rose, and Klarth.
Summary; After a few days of hell, the sun comes out.

| DAY 7 | Wonders to Behold
[The storms have fled for now. In the wake of the nightmare of rock and mist, there are gentle waves, clear sky, and lovely wind. It's perfect sailing weather. Sometimes beside the ship, one can catch a glimpse of dark shapes-- fish or something else. Of course, if people shoot into the water like bored idiots with extra ammunition, that won't keep happening.
The sea spray glistens in the air near the ocean's surface. If one peeks closely enough, he can see a rainbow.]
[ooc:Please wait a moment for me to get all the sections up! DONE. And then it's business as usual: threadhop, threadjack, and backtag into INFINITY!]

Luke gets an idea.
He grins like a bastard and tries to bean Yuri in the head with an apple. He has good aim, and Yuri is a stationary target, so.]
no subject
And he just
takes the apple
and eats it.]

You're not human.
[No, you just can't troll a troll.]

[Yes, Luke, that's what flying fish do. Anyway, he leans out over the railing to get a closer look-- and gets slapped in the face with a fish. He sputters.]
no subject
Well, would you want someone from an unknown species all up in your personal space?
no subject
I-I just wanted to look...

SURE IS DRAGONAIR IN HERE
It disappears beneath the waves, apparently uninterested in the sailors.]

That said, she isn't exactly hiding if anyone wants to approach her]

Breaking off a piece, he holds it out to her.]
Want some?
no subject
Thank you.
[She turns back to the horizon]
I was not aware such creatures were even in existence. From this distance, it makes for quite the distraction.
no subject
Me neither. It's pretty amazing the kind of things you run into in this world.

... WHAT THE HELL, MAN
Dinner is fabulous, but the dessert is not. It smells like burning, because, well, it is. It used to be cake, but was burned so much it liquified, if that's even physically possible. Thankfully, Luke isn't crazy enough to serve it-- it's hiding in the back of the kitchen.]
no subject
Hm? Is something burning?
[He glanced towards the kitchen.]
no subject
Apparently. I wasn't aware we were having charcoal for dessert.
no subject
Ah, perhaps someone should go check on him.
no subject
[She gives a light shrug, turning her gaze away from the kitchen]
Although I'm sure if the something burning was him we'd know it by now.
