The drinks are flowing, the music's bumping, and for sure, the neighbors will be complaining, but who cares? Not Angela. She knows this has been a rough week for some, but here's an excuse to them to forget those problems, if even for a few hours. Angela owes this party to herself, anyway. It's been too long since she's danced on a tabletop after losing her shirt in the process. If turning thirty-three isn't a reason, she's going to make it one.

Oh, that's the doorbell. The glittery strippers are here.

[He's made it a point to be here for her, his lover, but he's kept to the edges of the party. He's still not the contented and amused man he was before his friends disappeared, but he's gotten better. He's even smiling a little at the music and Angela's antics. She's dancing the ghosts away, he supposes, filling herself with joy so she doesn't feel the pain.

He envies that a little.

Still there's a chuckle at the merriment, perhaps he should mingle a little more.]

[That's exactly what Angela's doing. It's the best she can do. It won't fix things and it definitely won't make life go back to the way it used to be, but nothing can. All anybody here can do is enjoy the moment for what it is and relax, eat, and probably get a lap dance or two.

Out of respect for the man she's walking towards now, Angela will not be getting that last option tonight. Once she manages to get next to him, she nudges Cinna gently with her elbow, holding out a plastic cup.]

We don't hold up walls in this house.

[He takes the cup and leans forward to kiss her gently on the cheek. He's not sure how much of whatever it is he'll drink, but he will happily hold it and pretend. For her he can do that much.]

Are we certain? I'd hate to see the music shake them loose.

[Mara's a little more subdued than she'd be at a party. She feels a fair amount of guilt about the last week, the things she'd done - especially to Ken whose forgiveness she's not sure she can earn, or even deserves.

But still, the alcohol flows and the music is for dancing and Mara's never not enjoyed a party here in the City.

Taking a break, she stands by an open window, cigarette in her hand and taking a little break.]

[Angela's unaware of what Mara's been through this week, so it's excusable when she comes along to bug Mara with a smile on her face. The cigarette's snitched from between the other woman's fingers and Angela carefully takes a pull. All rules will be broken tonight.]

[She's happy to let Angela keep the cigarette, reaching into her pocket for the pack to pull another. She keeps the smile on her face with a slight shrug.]

It's been a long, draining week, the hospital swamped with an array of citizens who look like their treatment would be better left to Universal Studios. But while he might be better off taking a night to rest up, he hasn't forgotten that his attendance was promised at a particular birthday celebration. Besides, this falls under one of the things he believes firmly in the City - that any and every reprieve should be enjoyed, and he fully intends to enjoy himself tonight.

He's consciously starting off slow, drink in hand, scanning the fairer half of the entertainment appreciatively. Frankly, it seems like a party House would approve of - though he's honestly grateful for his friend's absence, since in these situations, he's the worst influence Wilson could have around. Not that he doubts other parties' abilities to get him into trouble.

Thank whoever is overseeing this big city that House isn't here. Not only would he ruin Angela's mood, but probably her party too. But he is nowhere to be seen and so Angela remains the smiley, happy woman that she is right now before she stumbles over a random pair of shoes to poke Wilson.

"I heard that all men here will be getting a lapdance from Tinkerbell," she says with a grin. "No refusals allowed."

[Ginny's been scarce these past few days, just in terms of the curse wreaking havoc on the City and trying to keep her little Gryffindor family safe. But this is something she can't miss, and even between all of her own family plans, the redheaded witch still manages to turn up while the party's in full swing, grinning broadly and hoping—fervently hoping—that her record of avoiding glittery strippers remains clear.]

[Sorry, but that record's about to be broken because as soon as Ginny steps inside, one muscled firefighter in only a hat and boots cuts in front of her to introduce the witch to body parts normally left unseen. Luckily for her, Angela is around to turn the dancer by his shoulders and aim in the direction of some other woman who is much, much more legal.]

Ginny, darling!

[Cinna's smile is warm, perhaps a bit warmer due to his stubborn need to keep up appearances. Coming up to her, he gives her a brief hug as he pretends to analyze her dress choice.]

I'm so sorry I wasn't able to outfit you for the holiday tomorrow.

[While Freddy is dressed all in black he is no crow. Costumes are for kids and it's not Halloween yet and that movie is after his time anyway. He does however look a little shady with the pretty velvet envelope tied up with ribbon poking out of his pocket. He's waited for the right moment to catch Angela around a doorway doing who knows what.]

[Who knows what is grabbing another mini taco from the makeshift buffet table and popping it into her mouth whole for a good ol' chew. It's a good thing she's swallowed by the time she catches sight of Freddy because she immediately begins laughing.]

You do realize that it isn't a costume party, right? You didn't have to come dressed as a funeral goer.

[The theme did cross her mind for a second during planning, but Angela got lazy with costume shopping and decided against it.]

[George shows up around the same time the strippers do. Which makes an interesting entrance to the party. He sidles up behind Angela when she has a moment, pint in hand, and gives her a grin.]

Blimey, someone knows how to throw a party. I feel over-dressed.

[She turns to the creeper behind her and smiles after swallowing a bite of cake.]

Well, you can strip if you want, but I'm not paying for the hour of entertainment.

[Nathan's involved in a rather slurred, one-sided conversation with one of the glittery strippers. Said stripper is failing miserably at shaking Nathan off his tail, and is looking none too happy about the questions regarding his sexuality, and the occasional comment on the inadequate size of a certain piece of anatomy. Not that Nathan's doing anything to prove he's the bigger man, so to speak.

Who knows how long he's been at it, but Nathan looks like he's done a pretty good job of wearing down his patience. He's hoping he'll snap completely within the next few minutes.]

[Angela's a hero for a moment because she's swooping in to yank Nathan by the back of his shirt away from the poor police officer, nodding her apologies to him all the while.]

[Mr. White is dressed moderately casual. Hard to tell with these kinds of a parties. Drink in hand, he's enjoying the music making light conversation here and there. Mr. Orange has gone on to find himself some trouble. That's fine. The old man don't expect that they stay glued to the hip.

Good tunes and good looking faces are just the ticket. Oh, there's the birthday girl.]

[This is a Montenegro party. There isn't any dress requirement and in fact, there is a very good chance there won't be any dress at all at some point in the night.

But it's still a PG-rated night and when her name is called, Angela turns from the conversation with one of her many guests to grin at the man.]

Frank... or is it Mr. White now?

[ Eames has to admit, Angela has fine taste for choosing this as a way to celebrate her birthday - though he's still not sure how old she's supposed to be turning. It's a nice way to seemingly end the week - Sunday or not, Eames is hardly the religious man, but it's a day spent for rest.

He can "rest" by keeping his eye on all the lovely strippers, for example. ]

[If he asks her again, she'll tell him honestly. Her age has never been a secret. Her appearance behind him is, however, making it easier for her to poke him in the back of the head.]
