Closed ; on going
When; January 2 noonish
Rating; PG
Characters; Jack Harkness & Rose Tyler
Summary; Just lunch. Nothing to see here.
Log;
Rose is sitting in an out of way corner at the cafe with a cup of tea in front of her. She's waiting for Jack and she's a bit early. She's dressed for work in nicer clothes than she usually wears: slacks, flats and a warm jumper. There's probably a bit of gold and bronze paint still left in her hair from her adventure painting the flat with the Doctors. She's trying very hard to look nonchalant. Sure, this lunch is about catching up with Jack, which she hasn't done in far too long but she's got something else on her mind. Something that Jack just might be able to help her with or at least put her on the right path.

Sweeping to the table, he took the spot across from her with a grin.
"Wait long?"

"Nope. Not too bad. You look good, Jack."

She takes a sip of her tea and orders a sandwich when the waitress comes to take their order. Once he places his order and the waitress leaves, Rose picks up the conversation.
"So what've you been up to?"
no subject
"Not as much as you, it seems. Got to say, I'm enjoying the vacation; maybe a little too much."
