Summary; The final battle for our slugged Estelle.

[She trots along the sand, her cleaver behind her as she decides to return to the safe zone, more specifically, back to the scene of the crime. Judith was a close call, but luckily it was able to escape. Worst case scenario, it would have died along with its host. Not that it would mind that, but it would be more fun if she was taken out by the targets it had called out in the first place.

Seeing the spots of blood on the sand as it returns, she smirks at her handiwork as she brings out her weapon in front of her to inspect it, her twisted and cruel face reflecting back at her bloodied cleaver.]

Yuri, Flynn, are you here? I know Tyr called out to you, so I thought maybe you would come!

[She doesn’t move after calling out for them, instead, keeping her eyes and ears both open for a surprise attack. After all, that seems to be the most popular way to approach her today, and that’s not very nice at all!]

[ Flynn grips his sword tightly as he watches the slug's handiwork on Estelle. He'd been under the influence of a slug once before, a long time ago, and it hadn't been pleasant. He was different though and nothing like Lady Estellise...

He can't possibly allow this slug to do more harm in Lady Estellise's name. ]

We're here.

[ He stands where Estelle can see him clearly. ]

[vesperian]

[Her voice is clear even in the vast desert with its muffling sands. He's still shaken, grim and mulling over Tyr's death and the abomination that's decided to attach itself to him. He wants to curl up somewhere - go back home. He can't look at his hand without--

But there she is.

He looks toward Flynn, speaking silently to him through a glance. We have to do this.

And then back toward her- Estelle. Who never deserved and of this.]

Hello, princess.

[firstaid]

I'm so happy you came, really, really!

[She stops in front of them, but still keeping her distance. After all, it would be kind of sad to end them because it got cocky by getting to close to them. Of the three, it knows she's the weaker swordsman. Tyr's spell had long worn off, but still, it took a bit of a toll on her.]

Are you going to tell me to get out of this girl's body? Though, it's futile, so why don't we get straight to the point!

[The cleaver is now out in front of her in battle position. This is two against one, so this will be difficult, but it does have healing artes on its side, plus some others.]

[srslynotguy]

We'll rescue Lady Estellise. In the name of the Knights, we will.

[ But Flynn is trying to think now, what should they do to get the slug out? He had had to die to be saved from the slug. He hopes that wouldn't have to happen with Estelle. He looks to Yuri, answers Yuri's unspoken words: Don't harm her unless you have to, Yuri. ]

[vesperian]

[Another glance-- I know.

He drops into a fighting stance. It's guarded, careful. He doesn't want to have to hurt her, but he knows she'd want to be stopped.

He knows that if the blood on her hands don't stop at Tyr's, she'll break.]

So stop talking and bring it if you're so eager.

[srslynotguy]

[ Flynn settles into a fighting stance. What can they do? --He looks at Yuri again.

He has a shield, he's well-armored. He's better off taking Estelle's attacks than Yuri and then... Yuri can do what he sees fit.

Yuri should know what he's thinking now. ]

[firstaid]

[She looks between the two, wondering which one she should go after, if even that. But oh, right! Spells! She's still a decent distance away from the two, so there should be enough time to at least cast one.]

O' holy waters, rain down your power on us!

[Yes, this spell should give it enough time!]

Holy Rain!

[And with her shower of lights coming down, she takes that time to figure out where they're going and if her spell did any damage.]

[vesperian]

[It hits and it hurts, but Yuri's been around the block a few times and he weathers through it, sending an Azure Storm and Final Gale. He'll let Flynn take care of the close-ranged moves despite his own magic. He knows the plan - it doesn't need to be said.]

[srslynotguy]

[ If he keeps Estelle distracted enough, she won't be able to cast any spells- Flynn zooms then, throwing his shield up to shield himself from Estelle's spell, and goes for a slash at Estelle-

She'll either dodge it or block it. Either way works. ]

[firstaid]

[Unfortunately, the slug doesn't realize it takes her a bit of time to recover from such high level spells. Maybe it did and just thought it could control her well enough to maneuver right away. But as is, she barely dodges those artes Yuri sends her way, the Final Gale cutting at the skirt of her dress. As for Flynn, she just has enough time to block as she brings her cleaver up. Right, this girl can use strike artes, too!]

Air Divide!

[It's not much, but it gives her the push she needs to put distance between them once more.]

[vesperian]

[Yuri darts in, quick on his feet and as unheard as an assassin as he shoves his sword in the sand, a glyph appearing around them. He focuses the energy so that it heals both himself and Flynn while damaging everything else.]

[srslynotguy]

[ Flynn mutters a quick thanks and goes at Estelle again, taking in whatever Estelle dishes at him and dodging/shielding accordingly. He's loathe to use any actual artes on Estelle though and would rather keep close to the princess and distract her while Yuri thinks up on how to sneak up and, possibly, disarm her. ]

[firstaid]

[Hit by that glyph, she winces before pulling back some more. Its host is slow, and by now, it's acknowledged that fact. Fine, no more spells, just artes now as she sends a Star Stroke in Flynn's direction, and once she's close to him, she thrusts her sword at him with a Pierce Cluster, hoping to attempt to break his guard.]

[vesperian]

[While she's focused solely on Flynn (though he must tread carefully, her moves could still catch him in turn), he darts around her, aiming to kick her sword out of her hands]

[srslynotguy]

[ Flynn keeps shielding through those attacks but even if he's indisposed like this, he keeps a close eye on Yuri's movements. The moment it looks like Estelle's taken his recent movement as a sign to turn into Yuri, he surprises her by unleashing a Sonic Thrust at her. ]

[firstaid]

[It notices Yuri as he goes behind her. It's intention was to sweep it's weapon across the ground, intending to get them both. However between Yuri's kick and Flynn's sudden attack, it finds itself disarmed, the cleaver flying away from her as she falls on her rear. She's unable to stand, but it makes an attempt to crawl and retrieve its weapon before anything happens....

...but it also notices she's slow, and that's quite a disadvantage this girl has.]

[vesperian]

[Yuri's always been quick- fast. He pins her down, straddling her back while reaching for her hands, his own sword forgotten and fully trusting Flynn to have his back while he's vulnerable.]

[srslynotguy]

[ And Flynn does, but he also runs up to the two of them-- He makes a mental note of where Estellise's cleaver and Yuri's sword went so he can pick the latter up to toss to Yuri if he needs to. ]

We have you now. Release Lady Estellise from your control at once.

[firstaid]

No, I refuse!

[She's struggling against the weight, trying to pull herself out of Yuri's grasp. If only she could get to her weapon, then she could put up a fight once more. With her hand outstretched, her fingertips are barely touching the cleaver, but she can't quite get it.]

[vesperian]

[He could choke her, too. And his hands move to her neck to do just that-- but he sees her. He sees Estelle, he sees Flynn dying. He can't do this.

For once in his life, he can't do this.

Instead of reaching for her neck, his hand hovers just over his face. The light of his blastia begins to shine and a small glyph appears around his hand.]

I haven't been practicing, but Rita taught me this sleeping spell--

[And he's just waiting for Flynn to laugh or something.]
