Xanadu is buzzing this afternoon with with food stands and booths with games to play and trinkets to sell or win. There are a couple of stages where people play instruments, sing, juggle, and otherwise entertain.

People donated money, time and materials to bring everything together. Some areas are very polished and professional while others have more of a homemade touch, but it blends together nicely and there is a little something for everyone. A little further from the main attractions there is space for relaxing or playing a game of frisbee or catch.

As the evening settles upon the City, paper lanterns light up an outdoor dance floor and a band plays a range of music from romantic to spirited. There are also tables set up for those who would prefer to star or people gaze.

[Well Ivy you're gonna have to watch out as this boy and his not cute pet are walking towards you. The boy in question holding a disproportionately large amount of food in his arms for one person and small creature to consume.]

[ Side-stepping him neatly, though she's frowning a little. ] Excuse me.

Sorry about that, it's hard to tell where I'm going solely based on sound. [Femur let out a amused chitter which only makes the boy sigh as he sets the food on the ground.] Hush you damn glutton before I take the braised marrow bones and give them to a random dog.

[The tooth-fairy's jaw drops slightly before it zooms over to the tray containing said food, clutching at it possessively while glaring at Huey.]

Perhaps it would be wise then to arrange everything so that you're able to see as well. [ Watching Femur with interest, though. ]

I did before he started piling on the cotton candy.

Why did you let him?

[He'll just scratch the back of his head while Femur begins to to fly towards Ivy while gnawing away at one of the marrow bones.] Because of his absurdly high metabolism.

[ She holds out a hand to Femur, but doesn't touch. ] What is he?

A tooth-fairy named Femur. [The little fella lands on the girl's hand as it finishes off the bone.]

[ Femur gets a little smile, her other hand coming up to pet the tooth-fairy on the head carefully. ] Hello, Femur. [ Sorry, Huey. She is more interested in your pet than in you. ]

[Story of his life. Not that it bothers the boy as he begins to eat away at some takoyaki, one of the few things he bought for himself. Femur on the other hand lets out a content chirp at the petting.]

How long have you had Femur? [ Well, if he likes the petting, she'll continue it, even smiling a little at the tooth-fairy. ]

Two years, you could say that he was left to me as a parting gift of some sort.

He seems very intelligent.

Only when he isn't in one of his excited moods.

Does that happen very often?

He spazzes out three times a month on average.

[Said subject of their conversation flies over to Huey and takes a perch on the boys shoulder, tugging at his ear to signal he was ready to go and eat.]

Looks like he's ready to go and eat now. But before that, I'm Huey. [He extends his right hand out to the girl.]

[ Taking his hand to shake it. ] The Archive. It is nice to meet you.

The Archive? [He can't help but quirk an eyebrow at the name.] Gynoid?

No. I am human.
