Xanadu is buzzing this afternoon with with food stands and booths with games to play and trinkets to sell or win. There are a couple of stages where people play instruments, sing, juggle, and otherwise entertain.

People donated money, time and materials to bring everything together. Some areas are very polished and professional while others have more of a homemade touch, but it blends together nicely and there is a little something for everyone. A little further from the main attractions there is space for relaxing or playing a game of frisbee or catch.

As the evening settles upon the City, paper lanterns light up an outdoor dance floor and a band plays a range of music from romantic to spirited. There are also tables set up for those who would prefer to star or people gaze.

[And he searches his pocket for the right color coin--which he tosses to the man running the booth (who looks a bit uncertain about all this...since it may not be the first time the cowboy has played this game today).]

{She slips closer to watch coming to stand alongside him. More than anything she's just jealous that he can hold the gun steady at all.]

[He's just going to hang out at this booth all day and make the owner look bad. Especially if it means he gets women to stand close to him. This is excellent.

Spoiler: he'll hit everything he aims at here. Even if the gun is a toy and completely worthless.]

[When he hits them all, she already knows the owner is going to be agitated. That's not how this is supposed to work, and she gives the irritated man a smug little smile before returning her attention to the cowboy.]

[She's going to take it from him, she normally wouldn't, but she's in the mood to tease the hell out of him and it ends up at her lips instead. Her quirked eyebrow suggests that he is very much making her point for her.]

[He'll let it go. Or he'll try to. All of it, of course--both literal and metaphorical.

Look: he won't even pull another cigarillo out of his pocket.

She's kinda interesting, though.]

[She grins lazily, pushing away from the booth. Her hand lingers on his arm as she heads past.]
