Xanadu is buzzing this afternoon with with food stands and booths with games to play and trinkets to sell or win. There are a couple of stages where people play instruments, sing, juggle, and otherwise entertain.

People donated money, time and materials to bring everything together. Some areas are very polished and professional while others have more of a homemade touch, but it blends together nicely and there is a little something for everyone. A little further from the main attractions there is space for relaxing or playing a game of frisbee or catch.

As the evening settles upon the City, paper lanterns light up an outdoor dance floor and a band plays a range of music from romantic to spirited. There are also tables set up for those who would prefer to star or people gaze.

I like crowds. Easy to disappear in. I just don't like them all that much when they're a surprise. [She shrugs slightly, though, leaning on Howard briefly.] Still, at least there are a couple friendly faces in here.

I'm one of 'em, right? I've gotta be one. [ He's joking, but there is a hint of uncertainty there. ] Stick with me, darlin', we'll find ourselves a good time, turn this thing 'round.

You, Howard, are one of my absolute favorite people. Top...three, we'll say. [And there's an arm through his, a Charlie-style hug.] I think that sounds like the best idea. Where to, first?

[ It's odd how easy he is with affection around her, how awkward it might be with anyone else. It cheers him up, keeps him smiling. ]

I'm not telling. [Smirking forever, leaning her head on his shoulder briefly.] Did you try any of the food yet?
