[Semi-open]
When; 28th April and some couple/few days ahead for shenanigans?
Rating; PG...?
Characters; Merlin, Solomon, Arthur Pendragon, Edmund Pevensie plus any character who has plans with Merlin on the 28th specifically (or if people wanna visit their house, I guess) - so feel free to contact me/us
Summary; So Merlin gets hit with Morality Reversal on the 28th and makes a servant out of Solomon (and deletes some memories and whatnot; it's a mess) and that spell doesn't revert. So the household gets stuck with an additinal servant. Said household is a little frazzled.
Log;
The action happens in the comments!

For Solomon!
Merlin had been on the lookout for a few hours, and took notice of one person who seemed to rather keep to himself, acted pleasant enough and just came off as overall convenient. It didn't take much more work after that. Just a bit of searching and tinkering, a voodoo doll and a spell and...
Well, perhaps the spell didn't end up coming out quite so successful. At least, that was what it seemed like, and that probably had something to do with the fact that he had never used it before. But no matter! Even if it did end up going wrong, no harm would come to him and so, he just settled down in his corner in the library, tucked the doll away and waited to see if anything would happen.
In other words; if his target would come or not.
For Solomon!
So making quick work of his time, he stopped briefly in at the library for an armload of reading material, then off to pick out a small trinket to present to his beloved. Next on the list was one of the local well-rated eateries for a rather substantial take out order. The flowers were last, nothing too grandiose or special, just one of the many small touches that might ultimately serve to warm her heart towards him once again. He hadn't lost hope of that...
Returning to their building, he'd just gotten through the front glass doors when it struck. Suddenly bespelled, his eyes stared blankly in front of him, having forgotten exactly where he was going, and the items in his hands fell unheeded onto the glossy marble floor. He moved. One moment he was there, the next he was not.
Time was lost. And all was a hazy darkness, until his mind became aware of his surroundings once again to find himself standing in the tomes of a large room, surrounded by books... and one man before him, blazing like an inferno of light in his mind's eye. It was clear who he was. And just as importantly, what he was...
Solomon's own eyes lit with their own light, and his mouth twisted into a small smile. There were none of the typical markings of protection on the floor under his feet to contain him.
"... my, isn't this unexpected~. I can't help but to feel that you're either a very brave man to attempt this, or a very foolish one."
no subject
That was certainly interesting.
Merlin might want to call this an... experiment of a kind, and it was... Yes. Interesting. He had doubted the whole... moving like that, whatever it was called, but there the evidence was, right in front of his eyes. Very curious.
"Most people would probably call me foolish," he said, and offered a smile.
It was rash, but he liked playing around with magic, testing its boundaries, seeing what it could do. This man was merely a test subject, although Merlin wasn't sure he had intended for him to be this aware of things. Another interesting part of this. At least, the man didn't seem so bothered with it.
no subject
This was too easy. It was almost a pity.
Taking a few leisurely steps towards the other man, he casually reached out to run his fingertips along the spines of a row of books. Perhaps the man would afford him a small amount of entertainment before he died. Of course, not his 'preferred' entertainment, but to a demon of his stature, Solomon would take this as compensation.
"Children shouldn't play with things they don't know. Summoning someone like me... well, there are always consequences. A price to be paid for my time..."
no subject
Merlin was hardly a child. Everything he had done and gone through, there was no way he was a child, if perhaps a little rash. But that was fine, he was sure; he could deal with this.
"A price?" he asked, cocking an eyebrow.
no subject
"Of course~. Or did you think you could bring me here just to chat?"
Others might feel sympathy for the young man before him. But it wasn't in the nature of Solomon's kin. It was a kindness to even be spelling it out for him. "I'll take your soul I think." And he began to advance...
no subject
He didn't exactly know just who this person was, so if the guy could take his soul then... Well. But considering the nature of the spell, he figured it was highly doubtful. More than anything, he was amused, really.

For Charlie~
Not that he really minded Charlie's company, either, he just wasn't so keen on the running errands thing. Plus, it was always smart to be on the good side of people, after all.
So at two-thirty, as she had said, he was outside Charlie's door, and rung the bell. Hopefully it would be over with pretty quick.

"It's open," which is really a dumb thing of her to do since being murdered a few weeks ago but she'd gotten used to being safe again. She peeked out of the bathroom to watch whoever it was coming in.
no subject
"Hello!"
no subject
She ducks back into the bathroom, checking the bandage which...sort of seems to be holding. Hands are washed a moment later and she steps out of the bathroom, heading to Merlin. She's briefly followed by her two cats and the fox kit but then, noticing she's getting ready to head out,t hey head for the cat tower instead.
"Ready to go?"
no subject
Then it probably wouldn't be possible to heal it using magic either, since this was the City and that was what. So Merlin just nodded an okay and leaned against the doorway as he waited.
"Ready as I'll ever be," he said when she appeared again, spreading his arms.
no subject
Door shut behind her, she starts down the hall to the stairwell of the apartment.
"Thank you, again, for coming with me. This has been a nightmare, these past few weeks."

For Solomonor Merlin or both!
But that doesn't stop him from stepping out of his room and yelling down the hall. "Merlin! Where's my breakfast!" It's midmorning and Arthur is just getting up.
On his own.
There is something seriously wrong with this picture.
For Solomonor Merlin or both!
He frowned, glancing back disdainfully at the cooling food he'd been forced to prepare, and remembered his master's clear (if not slightly unreasonable) instructions. But this was one of the potential pitfalls of contracts... the inability to refuse such a directive.
And so he let out a sigh of resignation and forced his grimace into something more neutral and moved quickly to intercept Arthur before he could shout out something else.
It was only a moment before he caught sight of the one that must be Arthur. "Please try to be more quiet... you'll disturb him." He kept his voice light, and amiable. "Your breakfast is in the kitchen... waiting."
no subject
He shakes his head and ducks back into his room, stretching an arm over his head. "No matter. Since breakfast is made why don't you bring it up here and while you're at it, draw my bath." He was fully expecting Solomon to follow to do his bidding. After all, Arthur doesn't do the fetching; the servants do.
no subject
He gives the young man a pleasant smile, "I'm certain that you must know where the kitchen is... if your desire is to eat, your food there."
no subject
"I beg your pardon. Just who do you think you are?"
For shame. For shame. As if Arthur was even capable of drawing his own bath or fetching his own food. And it's not even half past twelve!

"I am whoever my patrons and masters wish me to be~. But you can call me Solomon." It seemed to be the name that his master felt was acceptable, so that is what he gave.
For Solomon, backdated to the 29th
So, instead, he abruptly sits up and puts his palm to his forehead, staring ahead of him at nothing in particular.
"Wh..." What. The hell. "Oh."
Quickly, he stumbles up and out of bed and barges out the door to check the nearby room where this... Solomon... is apparently staying. If it wasn't a dream. Which it really doesn't feel like. What the hell?
Re: For Solomon, backdated to the 29th
He'd been sitting there for hours in the silent house, his mind wandering from his reading to think on this new human that he'd agreed to serve. Merlin was an interesting one... but then, any man that could summon him would have to be. There was potential there, a raw power just seeping out of the young man. A power to be shared or perhaps even taken under the right circumstances... and so he'd readily agreed.
Solomon's keen hearing heard movement minutes before he laid eyes on Merlin's sudden appearance at the door. But when he saw him, he rose from his seat, and dropped with deference to one knee.
"Master~..."
no subject
Merlin stumbles back a little, shocked, as Solomon drops to a knee and just... stares, for a while. Okay. Okay... This is... not okay. Not that he would mind... someone helping him with things occasionally, but he could probably ask for that.
He doesn't need a servant, doesn't want a servant.
"Ah.. You don't have to do that. That's just, uhm... Weird."
no subject
Beginnings with new masters always had an adjustment period. This was nothing new and he could be very patient when he wished to be.
Peering up from the locks of hair falling across his vision, he casts the human an amused smile. "You haven't seemed to think so before..."
no subject
Who almost flails for a moment, and then turns around in a small circle as he presses both palms to his head. Well, this is just brilliant! What the hell was he thinking?
--or, well, not-him thinking. Not at all, it seems like. Oh, god.
"I-- I wasn't myself!"
no subject
Rising to his feet, he advanced to narrow the distance between them. His mouth set firmly into an imposed smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. "My power is at your bidding and I am yours to direct until your last breath... then what was yours, shall be mine. A fair trade I believe."
