Sometime Thursday everyone no matter their age (barring the residences of Setsuna Muduo, the angel Michael, and anyone Hatter has been able to determine as friends of the one called Ikki) in the City will have received a notice inviting them to a party on the outer edge of the City.

The address leads to a modest little place with garden and labyrinth that has been decorated in smoke, fog and glow sticks. There is live music thanks to Curt Wild & Time Bomb, food, drinks of the alcoholic and non varieties, along with some more atypical treats (do be careful which pills you mix with which).

The host of the evening, the Master of Ceremonies so to speak, is a quaint thing harlequin painted for those who've yet to meet nem. Do feel free to mix and mingle, the night is quite young and it is a party after all. Just don't forget the overall theme: it's not a real party until everyone's clothes come off.

Just be care of the maze...there's at least one psychotic vampire on the prowl.

[Time Bomb is a little rusty, regular rehearsal's having been thrown off by Stephen's injury, assorted curses, and the fact that this isn't exactly a day job for any of the members. It doesn't really matter, though. Their music is loud and energetic and Curt can't do anything but throw himself into whatever he's doing. He's shirtless by the end of the first set, to no one's surprise, and drinking beer between songs. He's got his lucky tight silver pants, eyeliner, and given the ambiance broke out the glitter, which hadn't made an appearance for months. When their first set ends he figures its a chance to enjoy the party although maybe he shouldn't start to enjoy it too much until they're definitely done for the night, because he needs to still be capable of playing the guitar.]

[When the set ends, Setsuna hands one of the guys a water bottle, rather than a beer. Everyone else can supply that.]

Maybe it's just the booze, but you guys are pretty good. What're you called?

[Water is a good plan. He's certainly sweating enough. Curt nods his thanks.]

Time Bomb. We have an album and everything.

Never heard you before. You guys formed in the City? Do they play you on the radio?

Yeah, we did. We actually used to have a member who was a DJ--I don't know if we've been on the radio much since then, but probably. We're the only local band, as far as I know.

If you're the ONLY local bad, you guys should do more advertising, or get out more, or something. Have a concert! This place could use a few....

We used to do a lot more, even after our other guitarist went home, but our bass player broke his wrist and this is our first gig since he healed up. It's summer now, though, so a good time for concerts.

Well, that sucks.

And yeah, it is. If you have any, I'll go!

[... Raikov watches for a bit. Their music is still so... odd to him. But he loves the spark in Curt's eyes, the passion he shows when he's performing... No matter how outlandish it is. Curt is a fellow artist, after all]

[Curt catches sight of him and winks in his direction, grinning. As much as he's usually full of personality, he's almost always more alive on stage.]

[The Russian smiles in return and wiggles his fingers in a tiny wave.]
