[During the whole day, Sif can be found performing her regular activities, without letting such a silly curse affect her too much. Kissing others is not such a big deal, especially if it's pleasing; even if it's more than she's done in a long time. You won't find her crying about it; she'll be very civil! On her best behaviour, really.

Locations where she can be found throughout the day are her workplace as part of the Security team at Stark tower, walking the dogs in the park, strolling wherever, grabbing lunch at a random restaurant, or having a drink before heading home.

[Bruce is in town picking up supplies. It has been a odd day so far. Clint and Steve have both kissed him today and he's a little off balance. He's sitting in the park, eating lunch away from the hubhub of the cafes and restaraunts.

He glances up as Sif comes passed.]

Hello Sif.

[She is without the dogs now; they're probably napping at home, or doing whatever dogs do when their master is away. Hopefully not stirring trouble, if they know what's good for them. Right now, so close to lunch time, Sif is looking for a place to have her meal in peace, without being licked or shed on by all the pets Thor left behind.

She hears her name called, and stops, turning towards where the voice came from.]

Bruce Banner. [A smile.] Hello.

[Bruce gestures to the space beside him.] Come and sit down.

It's good to see you again.

[She looks behind him - well, it seems she has found the place to eat. And with company, as well - meals often taste better in company. She moves to join him.]

Yes, it has been a while. How are you?

[He has strawberries to go with his lunch and offers them to share.]

It's strange being back in the town. I'd forgotten how noisy it was.

[Strawberries! The gesture is a sweet one, although Sif is not usually a fan of sweets - not as much as others - but she does take one. Bites into it, while appraising him as subtly as possible.]

Your other...self. He took to the forest. Were you there a long time?

Two days.

[Bruce jaw tenses.]

And then I had a day walk back to the cabin.

There is a cabin? [She's never noticed it when she was out there, hunting. But then again, she didn't stick close to the outerskirts of the forest, when in there.

She did go after, just in case; but she won't tell him that.] He is capable of speech. And of understanding it.

[ He's designated the curse somewhere between useless and annoying. ] Even with his normal attitude, he's not one for physical contact. Not from strangers -- humans, at that. He's had far more pressing things on his mind than silly games. Diva's absence. Solomon's ennui and the loss of his powers. ]

[ Spotting Sif walking by, he offers a wry smile and a nod. ]

[Oh, but that won't do. Not with someone so ready to suspect the worst from shady creatures such as Karl. A smile and a nod? None of that, she actually almost stops in her walk, brow furrowing.]

Not hiding in the shadows?

[ What can he say? He's developed a reputation. But there's moments when he deplores it. He has manic spells and lucid spells. During the former, he antagonizes, mocks, despoils. During the latter, he sulks, stews, broods. More interested in being left alone. ]

And ignore such a beautiful morning?

[No such luck for loneliness, not once conversation is established and begun. She narrows her eyes at him, slightly.]

From what I learnt of your kind, you do not take nicely to the sunlight.

[ He lets off a laugh at that. ]

You shouldn't believe everything you read, M'lady.

[ He doesn't include himself in the Vampire category. Uses it only to establish that he's a blood-drinker. That's the only thing - immortality aside - Chiropterans have in common with vampires. ]

[She doesn't. But she doesn't like being wrong, either.]

The warning still applies. [the one from long ago, when she'd thought herself a...mother.]

So protective. Even though the girls aren't kin. It's astonishing.

[ Family is Karl's first priority. But he'd never condescend to include humans among it. Cursed or not. ]

I do not offer my protection easily. [But once she does, it sticks.]

I need not have kin to know you are dangerous.

[He's walking home from shopping - finally he's done with all his errands now he can hide in his apartment from all the kissing - when he sees Sif.

He doesn't run from her, because for one that's rude, and two, that's Sif, she's a nice lady and she's doing him a favor, so he approaches carefully, keeping a bit of a distance]

[You would think that after kissing so many people, Sif would be deterred from going about her day as if nothing specific is happening. This would be equal to keeping a straight face after having her hair and face dyed pink during the water war curse.

One learns to adapt to curses in different ways; Sif learns to do it by acting as if they don't phase her. Which is why she acknowledges Steve's presence by walking closer.]

Good afternoon, Steve.

[He nods his head]

How are you doing today? I hope the curse isn't bothering you too much.

I am well. It is probably bothering others more than me.

[She pauses, notes the bags.] And you? Retreating strategically?

[punchedhitler]

That was the initial plan.

Are you deviating for me?

[punchedhitler]

[He nods]

A little bit.

[ Pepper's got some time in between meetings, so she figures she'll go down to the Security level, see what Sif is up to. After their conversation the day before, Pepper can't help but want to make one little shopping trip before their spa appointment on Saturday.

She knocks at the glass door before entering. Sure, the CEO could barge in wherever she likes, but Pepper's not rude, and the Security staff probably aren't the best people to surprise or offend. ]

Hey, Sif. You got a minute?

[Having a 'job' is still an experience - but security is not that different from strategizing war battle plans. One needs to adapt them a little, but the aim is the same as what drove her to picking up her weapons for Asgard: protection.

Still, there are dead times during the day, when staring at the screen is just dull. So she welcomes the interruption, though she does not look away.] Come in.
