When; Friday, 17 August
Rating; PG? PG-13? Not sure.
Characters; Percy Weasley (
aperfectthird), Ginny Weasley (
hexuality), party guests!
Summary; It's a party for Weasleys! Come one, come all!
Log;
For those partygoers looking for the Weasley birthday celebration, they needn't look too hard. Look for the clearing just off the rose path surrounded by trees that seem to have a fungus made of paper chains. There are a lot of them, far more than one person, even two people, should have been able to make. Carefully twisted amongst the paper chains are delicate fairy lights, and there are paper lanterns suspended between the trees, casting a warm light into the clearing.
Several picnic tables have been pushed together, enough to seat everyone, and a long table runs along one side of the clearing, groaning under the weight of all the food on it. Around the collection of picnic tables, trays with goblets float unattended, filled with a clear liquid that transforms into whatever the beholder likes - as long as it's non-alcoholic. For adult beverages, there's beer, wine, and champagne on one side of the food table, circled by the faint silver glow of an Age Line. Anyone under the age of eighteen who crosses it and takes a drink will find that, somehow, it's turned into water - and won't turn back.
A small wireless set plays music quietly - loud enough to be heard if there's a lull in conversation, but not loud enough to be a nuisance. Right now, it's playing classical music, but should someone wish to change it, they'd certainly be welcome to.
Eat, drink, and be merry!

[She licks a bit of icing from her fingertip then grins.]
Well, it's great, all the same. Thanks so much! You ought to go around and meet people, I swear we haven't invited anyone mad.

Awh, that's okay though. Mad is all relative. I'm pretty sure I know plenty of crazy people that the ones here won't make me bat an eyelash.

[She raises an eyebrow, smirking.]
Like who?

[ It's a joke. Mostly. ]
