Summary; Bruce has ended up treating several of the Circus' victims and now they're cluttering up his lab and apartment. Open post for people to visit Luke, Serrure, and Asami or pester Bruce (and possibly Sif)

Bruce's lab and apartment hadn't been intended as a makeshift hospital ward, but there they were. He'd set Asami up in his bedroom and Luke and Serrure were still kept in separate rooms to keep their magnetism from dragging their wounded bodies back together.

He's immediately available by network, but at the moment he's in his kitchen brewing up some chamomile tea. More accurately the water's heating and he has his forehead pressed against the stainless steel door of his fridge.

[Hope you're up on your sterile technique and wound packing, Bruce. Not that he's going to hold still for that.

And he's maxed out on his painkillers, not so much for the pain but because even the not-quite-in-control-of-my-mind feeling is better than thinking about his missing, not healing bits. But he props on his elbows.]

Dr. Banner. [You're his new favorite person.] I think I broke it. [Indicating the PCA dispensing the narcs.]

I'll take a look at it. Are you hungry? [He sets the tray within Serrure's easy reach and moves the wound care package to a rolling table.]

Yes. [And he's reaching for things on the tray. With utensils, he pokes about sniffing, then tasting.] No one uses forks on Asgard. Have you ever seen a dog eat peanut butter? Dining is much like that, only louder. [And he's sneaking a glance at Bruce out of the corner of his eye, he'll blame the narcotics later...] Thank you. [Look how casual he is, another casual bite.] For everything, I mean. You do not like me and you did not have to, so thank you.

[And now look how interesting that bit of food is. He's going to just dawdle over eating it.]

You're welcome. [Just as casual. He's going to let Serrure eat for a while before he gets down to dealing with those dressings. He's unlocking the PCA and checking its settings and function.]

I don't think it's broken.

[And he's just going to eat. He puts away quite a bit of food for his small frame. And he's not picky.]

I used it all already? If I promised a little more shall not kill me would you - [He squints and little knob turning motion with the hand that isn't currently holding a fork.] You'll be the best person ever. Ever. Except Thor. Sorry. He has a hammer. And Sif. Uh. Third best person ever. That's quite an achievement.

You used your safe dose already. It will dispense more when enough time has elapsed. [And he's already giving a ridiculous dosage because he has experience with dosing Luke.]

I guess I'll have to miss out on being the third best person ever.

Well, you did cut us apart with a fair amount of accuracy. You shall retain the title of third best person.

You need not do anything to that, yes? [Gesturing with his fork over his shoulder at his rear.] I think it is fine. Perfectly fine. Possibly healing. [Just ignore the bloody butt print on the wall.]

I looked at Luke's wounds earlier and they aren't healing. I need to see yours.

We could just use Luke's as the representative sample, yes? No? No. Okay. [And he's just going to scrunch his eyes closed and hunch his shoulders a bit.] How is Luke? With his history of stitches, I should think this is particularly awful for him, but he seems level. Whether that is a front or not, I am of yet unsure.

He's putting up a good front. [Bruce pulls on his gloves and gets to work as quickly and gently as possible.]

We'll not reattach if we're near each other? I mean, magical stitches suddenly rebinding us... [Norse cuddle puddle solves a lot. His easy conversation is belied by how tense he is, not from Bruce, but about thinking of what happened and it not healing. What if it never heals? What if he must return to Asgard like this?

Oh that's terribly depressing. You ought not to have thought about that, Serrure. The tension has turned into fine trembling.]

[Bruce pauses.]

Am I hurting you?

No. It does not hurt. Can't feel a thing. Rather pleasant. Floaty.

[Trying to keep words back behind clenched teeth, but oh well, no filter on the painkillers.] Aesir heal, Dr. Banner. Someone has pieces of me, and they're not there where they ought to be. And I was sewn to a person. And I am trying to let it go but I can't cease thinking on it all.

[No one around him has a filter these days. Bruce gets back to work, jaw set, shoulders tense.]

I can teach you a few techniques. I know about learning not to dwell on negative thoughts.

This isn't a curse. The Circus has been here too long and my Loki intuition of terrible, impending doom is tingling. [He just wants Thor and his big, stupid, goodnatured face.]

Loki intuition? [Hey, it could be a thing, but he kind of doubts it.] Look, there are occasional protracted curses. I've seen records of them.

It's a thing. When things are about to turn out horrible. Mostly for Lokis. [Haha no.] Except there are carnies. Carnies whom I do not think are cursed citizens of The City. Evil carnies.

Does Luke share that intuition? [Still cleaning. Keep Serrure talking and maybe he'll be distracted.]

Possibly. Maybe. I shall ask him. It would be convenient to know. [It's working. You're a peach, Bruce.]

Why don't you call him on the network and ask him now?

[And he's busting out his cell phone as well as yelling through the wall.] Luuuuke. Do you have Loki intuition?

[Oh, he hears that. And. Has the call, and so on. Time for dual yelling and phone call time.]

I'm not sure! I might? What about?

Foreboding feelings of terrible and impeding disaster! Mostly geared towards oneself.

But that is always! I mean, it might be expected? It's a regular sort of thing, you see?

I told him it was a thing. He didn't believe me.
