Charlie was married. Charlie McGee, the girl who couldn't get close to anyone back home for more reasons than she thought fair, found someone in the City to marry and that someone was, of all people, Merlin.

The ceremony itself had been nothing short of stunning, right in the center of Xanadu and even though she won't admit to it later (Except to Merlin because he had the best view of it), she teared up a few times during the ceremony. When it came time for vows, she was nervous, hands shaking slightly but when they were finally announced as husband and wife and Charlie could kiss Merlin, she suddenly felt so incredible about everything. All nervousness was gone and all she could feel was ridiculously happy.

Now at the reception, food and cake courtesy Rapunzel (And the dress, too), Charlie was busy speaking to guests and enjoying one of the most surreal moments of her life.

[Z is the most adorable, bouncy person ever. Charlie's not sure what to do with it, but she's enjoying in all the same. Rapunzel had plans for her hair later, but Charlie had a few ideas in mind that would help with it later.]

Would it be weird to ask for it straightened? It's just...this weather isn't it's friend and I always just stuff it up into a ponytail. And the red is fading some.

[Wow. Charlie. What?]

[Rain was nervous about being here, but very happy to have been invited. She hovered on the edge of the crowd, staying out of the way, but watching everything with a shy smile.]

Mercy tossed him an envelope. "A little bonus, buy Charlie something nice. She deserves it."

Mercy had been thoroughly moved by the ceremony and had gone through more than one tissue. Now she was just hanging around watching the happy couple.

"Are you sure? Because you've done so much already and I know it's a minor thing." Charlie. Stop talking. Someone please stop her. God is she nervous.

Thank you, Mister Ryan. And thank you for coming.

[She was grinning from ear to ear, quite pleased that the day had gone so well for them so far.]

[Any friend of Arthurs and Merlin's is a friend of Charlie's so. Here. Have a new bride walking over with a grin.] Hi. Thank you for coming. We appreciate it.

[Honesty would be polite. It wouldn't ruin a thing for her. Charlie extracted herself from the group of people she'd been talking to and headed over to Pave. There was concern on her face, head tilting just slightly.]

You're very quiet.

[It was worrying.]

[Rain ducked her head, blushing.]

Oh gosh, I... I'm just glad you didn't mind my coming.

You're really pretty and you and Merlin look so happy.

[And now it's Charlie's turn to blush, hands fussing with her dress and her hair a moment.] Thank you. And I don't mind at all. Like I said, I'm very happy you're here.

[She wanted to share this moment with so many people.]

Are you enjoying yourself?

[She half-smiles at him. Simply nodding once.] It is. And I'm very happy you showed up, Michael.

[Charlie smiles softly at Saya, a faint blush creeping over her face for a moment before she walks over to her...and hugs her. She's not the huggiest person, so this isn't a very strong hug, but it's obvious she cares about Saya with the way she does it.]

Thank you, Saya. You look wonderful. [And then she looks at her for a moment, eyes searching her face carefully.]

Saya, are you alright?

[HAVE A GIANT BEAR HUG BACK, RAPUNZEL!] Hi! Hi, Rapunzel! Thank you so much for everything. This was just beautiful and oh, my god I really did it.

I wouldn't have missed it. Your dress was appropriately impressive.

[Yes, he's definitely telling you you looked attractive, Charlie. At your own wedding.]

[Rain blushed again.]

Oh yes. It's lovely.

[It was actually a bit overwhelming, all the people and emotions, but Arthur had asked her to come so how could she be anything but happy?]

I've never been to a wedding before.

Charlie'd set up a video for Percy to be able to watch the ceremony. He did have a part in it, what with sending fireworks for later so it was only fair he got to see it somehow. Right?

Charlie'd taken the device and stepped away from the noisy reception for a moment, shortly after handing a box to someone and sending them on an errand.

Now? Now she had Percy to herself for a few minutes.

"I just sent a ~~npc'd~~ guest over to you with food from the reception and a slice of cake, too. How are you doing?"

[Saya's own hug is only slightly less inhibited -- more tentative than Charlie might be used to from her.]

[She hesitates at the question, swallows, but forces herself to smile. Whether she's getting back that part of her personality that doesn't want to bother others or just doesn't want to interrupt Charlie's happiness, Saya knows this isn't the time.] Charlie looks pretty. Everything nice. I happy.

He's sitting up in bed, still looking drawn, but clearly pleased to be part of the celebration in some small way.

"You look beautiful, Charlie. Congratulations again. I'm sorry I couldn't be there." He smiles, wan but genuine. "I'm as well as can be expected, thank you."

I know, it was beautiful and you were fantastic, and aaaah congrats, Charlie!!

[She squeals as she hugs her friend back.]

"I want to, Charlie. I think you need something in your stomach. Pascal can take over your hair, he's good at doing braids."

Now it was Raikov's turn to meet the groom. The tall Russian made his way over to Merlin, dressed in his Soviet uniform, complete with peaked cap. Yes, most people didn't wear their enforcement uniforms to weddings but he currently lacked his "evening dress," as some called them.

"Merlin, I assume?" He asked, looking down at the boy, quite obviously inspecting him.

I said I would. And I got you guys a present too.

[He points to the big box behind the tree.]

It's useful. The venom can be made into a potion that's good for healing burns. Raphael used ta make it a lot.

And your wedding was very pleasant.

[He forces a smile that disappears when Charlie's demeanor seems to invite honesty. But of course--she is usually very straight-forward herself. He can return the favor.]

I am only concerned. Maybe it would be something better discussed on a different day.

I understand. [Charlie nods. She has her suspicions as to what this is about. She's no dummy. Others have approached her about how quickly this happened and asked her what she'd do if Merlin left. To her, it's entirely worth it to be able to say at some point that she married someone as beautiful and as amazing as Merlin.]

Other than concerned, are you alright?

And here would be one Charlie, heading over to Mercy a moment later with a grin on her face.

"Hi, Mercy. Thank you so much for coming."
