The building is decorated in silvers and blues, with ice sculptures, and magical falling snow. There's a band playing in the ballroom, and aerialists performing in the plaza. Hors d'oeuvres will be served courtesy of Jasmine Dragon, and there's more than one open bar. Don't get too rowdy, though, or security will throw you out!

[ Pepper Potts will be all around, making sure things are running smoothly. Feel free to stop her for a drink or a dance. ]

[Penny, dressed in a green number, tall boots, and a black coat, gives Pepper a hug the moment she spots her. They don't know each other that well, but she knows that Pepper's a good person. That's hug-worthy.]

Pepper! Everything looks completely amazing.

[It's honestly not fair that Pepper is that stunning and he can't find a good place to just stare and appreciate it without getting caught. Maybe he'll find one later.

He's in a black suit, white shirt, black tie. It's much easier to get dressed when you're a guy.]

Pepper Potts, right? It looks beautiful tonight.

[To prove to Mike he is physically capable of finding employment, Axl agreed to volunteer security for the night. They didn't want him to bring the sword, so he can't do much else except stand there looking tall and not very intimidating. Someone take pity and bring him booze.]

[Serrure just Cheshire smiles at him.] Great party. Security's a bit lax though.

[Okay, so it may be busy and full of people, but it looks like many of those people are there to make sure certain people don't get in. Which means that Bobby needs to make it a matter of personal pride to sneak in unnoticed. She is actually rather good, and may have gotten away with it if she were aware the security cameras and AI butlers are both a thing.

She's in the same outfit she showed up in a week ago, so feel free to catch an extreme raggamuffin looking ten year old of indeterminate gender stealing from the buffet trolley and throwing grapes at party guests from the balcony.]

[ Pepper is minding her own business, enjoying her martini with three olives. Wait, make that four olives. No, make that three olives and a ...grape? ]

[ She looks around and up, trying to catch a glimpse of where the grape came from. ]

[Miss Ginny Weasley slips into the party fashionably late, having hung around earlier to put the finishing touches on the magical decorations she's contributed to the night—mainly, the snow. Now she's all dressed up and weaving around people, greeting those she recognises, and allowing herself to just relax for once.]

[Oh look, more party crashers. He's sneaking in with Leah in tow.]

[ Stepping out in front of him, his arms crossed over his chest. ]

Are you kids supposed to be here?

[ Bucky's never really been fond of anywhere that houses a disembodied voice, but he kind of likes exploring City Solutions anyway. He's not as dressed up as half the people here, but at least his shirt is new and half decent.

But even all of that doesn't hide the vaguely confused look he's giving the aerialists. ]

[ Leaning against the wall where he stands, glass of wine in her hands. ] Hey.

[Charlie's running catering tonight. She's in the kitchen for part of the party, setting up trays and sending people out with them. Everything's arranged neatly, there are small desserts and savory items. All manner of food is going out the kitchen doors into the party itself.

Later on, Charlie can be found wandering the crowd to catch a break and a dance with her husband. Or possibly spy on the people working for her. Whichever.]

[When he spots her in the crowd, he approaches her, smiling at her slightly.]

I would be remiss not to say that you look wonderful this evening.

[ Sara had arrived not long after the party had started. She'll be sitting somewhere just watching everyone.]

[Shortly after arriving, Penny notices a girl sitting off alone. Some people like being alone and she can respect that. Others, though, just don't know how to start talking to people. She can relate; she's been there.

With a cup of punch in one hand, Penny goes to say hello to the girl.]

Hey there. Is this seat taken?

[Raymond is here just like last year, working security again instead of letting himself loosen up for a night. That said, he does seem to be a bit less tightly-wound than usual. Perhaps part of that is because he doesn't have to wear that ridiculous red bowtie this time.

Still, he is certainly keeping an eye out for any suspicious activity. But he probably wouldn't be averse to some conversation either.]

[ Well. She did just kiss him the other day, so she kind of wants to say hi. It's as good as knowing him properly, isn't it? ] Hey there.

[ Wilson has shown up at the party - really, it's the best chance for holiday festivity the City has to offer, and the fact that it's for charity just makes it a difficult event to decline. His time is being spent, primarily, mingling his way through the crowd with an occasional stop off at the bar to unwind and grab a drink. Of course, he's open and approachable - enough so that nobody should hesitate to stop him for conversation at any point, if they so desire. ]

[Bobby has upped the anti from grapes to chunks of ice. A particularly well-aimed cube manages to land right on top of Wilson's head. BULLSEYE.]

[ Carla has also returned as security for the nostalgia, though she's glad not to be in some ridiculous Santa's Helper costume this year. She doesn't need the money as desperately as she did last year, and she's not quite so desperate to find someone to pick a fight with either.

She's leaned back against a window, relaxed. She's an unrepentant flirt, however, and if she catches the eye of anything she likes she'll hold it and smile crooked.]

[ Drunk aunt in the corner. ]

[Luke is existing the heck out of this party. As Chloe, naturally, as she's wearing this. Yes, she's...clearly kinda pregnant. That doesn't stop her from holding a champagne flute in one hand like a classy lady. The open bars might not be serving him but dammit, she'll snag stuff off of plates travelling around.

The same holds true for hors d'oeuvres, because Luke loves food. She's scoffing those like there's no tomorrow, and still managing to have them finished before she smiles charmingly at various party-goers.

Parties are great. The City should have them daily.]

[Bruce has somehow been able to convince himself that Luke's pregnancy announcement the weekend that they were all cursed was just another artifact of the curse.

Thus he's looking a little pasty when he gets a good look at Luke in that gown.]

[Mike has honestly never been to such a fancy party before. He's just brazening his way through it. Honestly, the way he got himself to come here was by mentally insisting he needed to keep an eye on Axl and it just doesn't feel like his world. He feels more a builder than ever, and he has bad, Colin associations with wealthy people, which are leaving him a little bit on edge. Whatever. It's all free, so he might as well take advantage.

And he has been doing, he's well into tipsy by now.]

Lighten up, Mike You look like you're at a funeral.

[Axl has champagne. THIS PARTY IS AMAZING.]

[ If Tony hasn't seen you and said hi already, then you'll notice him probably doing the same to someone else. Either way, he's happy. He's in his element - one of them, anyway - and he's likely wandering around checking how things are going, being responsible for some of them being not so smooth, and hanging out around everywhere. ]

[The next time you look round, Tony, a grape has landed in your drink. Followed by one bouncing off the back of his head. There are a few barely stifled giggles from somewhere above.]

[Dulcie is all dolled up for the evening, and attempting to drink her own body weight in free champagne. Come find her and bug her!]

[Formal wear? What is that?

Zeb is a little bit tipsy at this point. Meaning he is in fact even more annoying than usual. He will be around, bothering the other guests, and taking advantage of that open bar.]

[Axl watches a few strike-outs in a row before he takes pity on his tiny Freki friend and brings him another drink.]

That girl wasn't that fit, anyway.

[It's been a while since she'd been to one of these. She can't even remember if she's ever been to one that wasn't for work reasons. But never the less here she is dressed in a gorgeous gown and simple but elegant shoes. Her hair tucked up and braided loosely, she feels like she might have over done it just a little.

None the less, she can be found lurking in a corner somewhere watching the crowd, the idea was to be social, she's not being very social.]

[Nope. Not over-doing it at all. Preow.

Axl meanders over as casually as he can manage. Which is not very. It's hard to sidle over casually when you're the tallest person in the room.]

[ Clint came with the excuse of helping out with security, or at least offering his expertise to the cause and sticking around in case he's needed, but if he's honest with himself, and he's trying not to be as an automatic defence, the City's changed him, brought him out of his shell more whereas before he would stick to the shadows, hang around up high and out of the way.

The people here have grown on him, to the point where he thinks he cares too much about some of them, but then isn't that always the case? He lets people in, they screw him over, and he's left to pick up the pieces. He wishes Phil could be here, but he's got Natasha and the others, the younger people he keeps a protective eye on - Phil would be proud he stuck to his word, he thinks, carrying on in spite of everything.

He's even smiling as he looks around, impressed, even if he is trying to conceal it. But he's in a good mood, feeling festive, and it's ironic how he might actually get to have a decent Christmas this year instead of hiding from the world or being sent out on one op or another. No, he likes what's been done to the place, the atmosphere, but most of all the people. ]

Psssst. [Is that table talking to you, Clint? No. Something rustles the table cloth and a voice says: ] Is the coast clear?

[Bruce is there on the edges of the party mostly, in his black suit and crisp white shirt with a thin black tie. His hair is growing out from the trim that Asami gave him almost two months ago, but he's clean-shaven and much less rumpled than is his wont.

He doesn't look especially comfortable, but then again, he just doesn't look like a big gatherings kind of guy.]

[The first few grapes miss the mark. You shuffle around entirely too much. Then she switches to ice chunks and gets one squarely at the back of his neck before she dives for cover. Haha!]
