Summary; Korra's been bb!fied. Again.
Log; She's just getting off of work when the curse hits. One moment she's glaring murder at some lecher dumb enough to leer at her, and the next she's four years old.

The people of the Underground are familiar enough with curses. They just laugh at the little ballbuster. One of them takes advantage of her size and confusion to pick her up.

"LET ME GO!" she screams, and bursts of flame shoot from her flailing hands. The crowd jumps back to avoid the fire, but they stick around, still laughing.

Korra tries earthbending, and manages to hit one man with a rock to the crotch. The crowd doubles over.

"Now she's a real ball buster!" someone shouts.

The little girl struggles and screams and uses all the bending she knows, but she can't break free.

[Tohru doesn't need manners in return. She's a little relieved when Korra starts eating, too.]

I don't know. But I'm sure if she could come she would.

[The idea that her mother can't come for her is terrifying. Korra's still at the age where her parents are magical. She may be The Avatar, but Mommy and Daddy are still All Powerful.

She won't cry. She's a big girl. She won't cry.]

Where's Li?

[Any explanation he gave when dropping her off has been forgotten. She wants familiar faces.]

[She can't even take care of a kid! It's a good thing she's not a mother. She'd be a failure! A little down, Tohru answers.]

He went home. I'm sorry. Would you rather have him back?

[This mutual angst session has been interrupted by --

A loud burp.]

Does that mean you liked your meal?

[She reaches over to pat Korra's back, and see if she can help get any remaining gas out. Okay, so Korra wasn't that young, but just in case! She wanted to help, in any which way.]

[Korra nods and kicks her feet.]

I wanna play!

[She can't angst for long, especially when she's been well-fed.]

[Tohru's a little relieved at that. She seems less upset, good. She's not a total failure, just mostly.]

What games do you like to play?

[Games? Who needs stinking games? Korra has BENDING! She rolls off the bed and grabs Tohru's hand to tug her outside.]

[Once outside, they might see the fluffy brown dog running towards them. Or maybe not; it's a very small dog.

Chekov has given up on trying to get people to notice that he's himself in spite of the dog body. Right now, it's much more important to him to get something to eat. Surely someone in Korra's household would be willing to feed a strange dog.

He doesn't expect a tiny Avatar. The dog stops in its tracks, head cocked to the side curiously.]

[Korra stumbles to a stop and points a finger at Chekov.]

PUPPY!

Oh! Hello, Mister Doggie. Or, uh, Miss.

[Chekov climbs on Korra and yips in response to Tohru's question. Communicating as a dog is hard.]

[Korra flomps onto the ground, giggling and scratching Chekov's head with more enthusiasm than sensitivity.]

[Tohru watches, a little concerned.]

You like dogs, Korra?

[The dog (Chekov is still there, but the dog-mind is most intent on driving right now) doesn't mind. He already played with a wolf today; an enthusiastic toddler can't be too bad.]

They're cute!

[She holds the dog up to Tohru, as if the older girl just needs a better look.]

Yes, they are very cute!

[She finally takes the chance to pet Chekov.]

[Chekov gives Tohru a pleading look. Feeeeed hiiiim.]

[Korra adopts a strangely low voice, like she's trying to talk for the puppy.]

FEEEEEEEEED MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Oh! He's hungry?

...what do dogs eat? We don't have any dog food.

[He squirms in Korra's arms and yips a yes. He'd eat anything!]

Ah! Where are we going? [Despite asking that, Tohru allows herself to be pulled along, a little curious. As they head outside she starts to worry a little.]

Is it okay to play outdoors right after eating?

[Of course it's okay! Especially when there's a puppy outside!]

[Chekov's stubby tail wags largely of its own accord. He doesn't know Tohru well, but she seems like the kind of person who would feed a dog. Korra, however... they haven't spoken since their argument. He's glad to see her in any form, but he's not sure what to think of her.

The part of his brain that's a dog knows. It propels him forwards and he jumps on Korra, excited and small even compared to the child. He wants to play!]

WAAAAH! [Korra falls back to the ground (more on purpose than not), giggling madly.]

It's a puppy! [As if Tohru couldn't tell.]
