When; Late April 16th Early April 17th in the morning
Rating; pg-13, I guess
Characters; Theodred, Al Capone other casino workers.
Summary; It's late at night or really early in the morning and someone's getting a bit too rowdy at the bar and violence ensues.
Log;
An orc walks into a casino...
No. Wait. This happens after that.
It's late in the night or really early in the morning. That time of day when things are just fuzzy enough that no one really knows. The casino was winding down at least. Customers were drifting home and it was getting quiet.
The gentleman, for lack of a better word, had been drinking rather steadily all night. He'd been losing fairly steadily all night as well. Which really didn't help his temper any.
One might say that because he was a rather large and ugly fellow he of course had a hair pin trigger and surly temper, but that's stereotyping and people shouldn't do that.
Unfortunately, tonight the stereotype was true.
After losing spectacularly at Theo's table the orc pushed his way to the bar and slammed a fist on the table growling out the word "Beer!"

"Pay up for the last two, pal, and we'll see about that."
The sap's losing streak isn't exactly a secret around the bar-- some people are just born vocal.

His temper has not improved with the wait time.
no subject
It's a nice power to have.
He looks across the casino floor to the tables, scoping out Theo with a look to suggest there would be more stories to tell at closing about one nutjob in particular.
no subject
Why?
Because the orc is looming down on Al.
no subject
"Hey, pal, you wanna back up there?"
Otherwise there's a loaded handgun under the bar that is more than willing to make his acquaintance.
no subject
"Give me my drink!" he snarls.
Theo is watching and wondering where Jack is, just in case things get out of hand.
no subject
"Get outta here and save us all some time."
no subject
Yes. Stupid.
"No."

Thus he makes good use of his appendages that are free and slams as good of a kick as he can manage into one of the orc's shins.
no subject
Because that's what it feels like kicking an orc.
Who now squeezes the man's wrist even more.

Meanwhile the orc bats the bottle out of Al's hand with a solid swipe. "Gimmie my drink!" And poor Al is going to get a full blow breath of orc in his face.
It smells like dead pickles and lemons.
no subject
Did you hear that, unhelpful patrons?
"I'll give you a drink," despite a woozy head and numbed leg and wrist, he spits straight at the orc's face hoping it will give him at least a moment to free himself.

The WTF happened thread...
Well, the expression on his face is not pleased, to say the least.
"What the fuck happened here?"
Re: The WTF happened thread...
"Um."

"Problem customer. We took care of it."

"I was gone for fifteen minutes. Fifteen, and you destroy my casino?"
no subject
He's feeling a bit heady still from his trick. It always leaves him a bit high, like he could take over the world.
no subject
He steps forward, addressing Meyer and avoiding an array of broken glass along the way.
"Look, it's a little rough but nothing that can't be cleaned up."
no subject
Are those bullet holes in the wall? Did someone really get shot here? If so, where's the body? These are all valid questions, and they just make him angrier. Somehow, he has the self-important opinion that if he'd never left, none of this would have happened.
"And the two of you will pay for the items required to fix this place up, yes?"
He's fuming, but fuming on him never quite looks like fuming on anyone else.
no subject
"It was kinda like a bull in a china shop... thing."
no subject
"I cut him off and he flies off the handle-- you want us to pay for that?"
He's getting the irritation vibe from Meyer, sure, but nothing close to fuming.
no subject
"You cut him off and he flies off the handle. Sure. Guess that explains why you weren't able to get him out of here before he destroyed half the glasses in this place. Guess that explains why one of you--" he has a guess which one "--felt the need to shoot at him. You want I should believe he did all this damage by himself, while the two of you sat around with your thumbs up your asses?"
Oh yeah, he's pissed.
no subject
"It was that huge fella with the grey skin, bad odor and tusks."
no subject
And he appreciates the backup, but with a temper like this unfortunately gratitude is often belated."He didn't toss anyone around. Theo scared him off and he ain't coming back."
He bites his lower lip as if still trying to withhold a snap, but he's not quite ready to admit any responsibility for anything outside of making the call to cut the guy off.
