When; 5th June, 6pm
Rating; PG-13?
Characters; Johanna Mason and Clint Barton
Summary;Clint Gramps promised to buy Johanna Mouthy dinner, so he's buying her dinner.
Log;
[ Growing lazy or not within the City and away from what he does out in the real world, Clint still turns up dead on six, as arranged, and seats himself at the perfect booth within the café; he makes sure his back is firmly against a wall where he's got a clear view of the door and can see both the room at large and beyond the large window. It's an old habit, one that's saved his life on more than one occasion, and sometimes habits are hard to break.
He doesn't really hold expectations, but if she happens to be late, well, he's not going to mind. He does hold off ordering, though, half of his attention scanning over the menu he already more or less knows by heart and the other half keeping an eye out. He's not seen Natasha around for a few days, so he wants to keep watch in case she wanders by while he's out, and with the army out in force ploughing down anyone who so much as looks funny it's safe to say he's on edge and watching out for anyone he knows in case they need back-up. ]

Well you can get to know me, Gramps. You don't piss me the fuck off, which is pretty rare.

[ Lifting the glass of water, he brings it to clink with hers, a smirk stretching his lips. ]

It's still the first day of this budding friendship and already I'm moving up the ladder. [ Leaning forward, elbow on the table with his chin resting on his chin in mock thought. ] Can't rush these things, kid.

Might be dead tomorrow, Pops. Don't want to be too slow on the uptake.
