→ maybe i'm a different breed, maybe i'm not listening,
When: August 5th ( evening )
Rating: R? Maybe? He's sixteen so who knows what's going to come out of his mouth.
Characters: Stilinski Jr. & you !
Summary: Sometimes you just have to get really, really wasted to deal with your teenage angst.
[ There are a lot of things you can get in the Underground if you just ask. Stiles has sheer dumb courage on his side ( and a winning personality ) and it's not that hard to walk out with a brand spanking new fake id. Objectively he knows he should have told Scott but he half figures his bestie will be busy making sure his mom settles in and anyway, the memory up on the network still stings.
So he tries the places they don't recognize him, carts his bottle in a backpack to the quietest part of Xanadu and gets steadily drunker. It's not hard to do. He's not really a big drinker beyond the occasional pilfered bottle of his dad's not insignificant collection. And it's not long before he's using his bag as a pillow and humming some idle pop song as he's sprawled across the grass.
He feels better, that's a plus, right? ]

He's quiet as he approaches, not able to see who it is exactly until he's much closer, but when he realises it's Stiles he quietly helps himself to the spot beside him, lying back with his head resting on his hands. ]
Good call.

Heeeeeey, Hawkeye. How's it hanging?
no subject
Down and to the side. [ Looking over, the amusement is evident. ] Not crashing the party, am I?
no subject
A pity party is always allowed to be crashed, man.

[ He saw the broadcast that ran across the network earlier in the week and guessed as much. ] Met your friend the other day. He not around to hang out with?
no subject
[ He shrugs loosely. ] They're doing family stuff.
no subject
Want to talk about it?
no subject
[ He just misses his dad. ]

[ Holding his arm out awkwardly from where he's lying, he makes a grabby hand for the bottle. ]
no subject
Are you part of the pity of this party or just needing alcohol?
no subject
Tasha left, so I guess it's a little of both.

Scott'd probably be able to help you there.
no subject
He told me about working at the animal clinic back where you're from.

[ Passing the bottle back over. ]

It's weird nobody ever thought about it before.

no subject
Yeah, he does.

Think I missed something there. Inside joke?

[ He stresses on the probably and doesn't actually make to move. He's missed talking to the kid. ]
no subject
[ Whine. ] I like it.

Yeah, you did good picking the spot. If you lost the ability to walk and collapsed here randomly, I'm thinking it's better we pretend otherwise.
