Summary; There's no legal drinking age in the City, but who says we can't party like there was one anyway?

This party was four years coming. The restaurant has set aside a large room just for this event and on short notice too. The food is plentiful and of various cuisines, with even a large selection of vegetarian options for those who prefer that. But of course, there is more alcohol than one has ever seen because Angela knows the people she invited and knows quite a few of them have liquor in their veins instead of blood. Rule of thumb: more liquid than solids every time.

Everything's set and ready for the birthday girl to make her appearance, so for the time being, Angela's flitting around the place dressed in more subdued colors than usual, choosing black because no one gets to stand out more than Ginny tonight, and socializing with the few guests that have shown up already.

Sadly, there are no strippers. Ginny nixed that one hard.

"Thanks, you too." He gives her a smile. "Have you had any champagne? It's great!" Especially, since his mother is currently being seduced by Captain Kirk.

"I haven't, I thought about sneaking some though."

She's too young to drink but then again, everyone here seems too young.

[affectioning]

Easy. He hands her a glass.

"Nobody's checking," he says.

[cupio]

She grins at that, takes the glass.

"Are you always a bad influence?"

[affectioning]

"Nope." He doesn't feel like he's being a bad influence. "Nobody cares. Really."

[cupio]

Taking a sip, "So, how's the animal clinic?"

[affectioning]

"It's not a clinic yet. It's closed right now." He lights up whenever he discusses this. "But, we're refurbishing it. Converting it. So it'll be closed for a few weeks. But, it's on its way!"

[cupio]

She notices it pretty easy, smiles in response to his enthusiasm, "Do you need any help? I'm an artist so I could probably do the whole painting thing for you."

[affectioning]

"Yes! My friend Angela is painting a dog mural but I don't have any painters. After the construction is done, could you?" He grins. "I'll pay you."

[cupio]

"You don't have to pay me, Scott. I'd love to do it anyway."

[affectioning]

"Great. That's awesome. Aw, this is so cool. Thanks, Clary."

[cupio]

A happy laugh, "Don't worry about it, Scott. What are friends for, right?"

Yep, one game of truth or dare and you're already her friend.

[affectioning]

"If you ever need anything, let me know."

[cupio]

"I will, promise."
