Summary: There are no Star Wars people in the City so let's have ourselves a bit of education.

What started off as a brosession quickly turned into a free for all movie night. Not that Stiles minds considering, but it means he has to plan and execute everything a lot more smoothly. So when Saya offers up the equipment they need he jumps at the chance.

Isaac helps cart everything about - werewolf strength, Stiles is envious -, and together they track down a space in Xanadu and fill it. It's not a hot night but it's warm and balmy and nobody's going to end up with pneumonia. Squashy beanbags get borrowed off a particularly hipster coffee shop and placed liberally about the place. They take what they can, couches that fit out of doors and large obnoxious cushions so everyone has a place to settle. There's a fuckton of candy too. Stiles pretty much wipes out a weeks allowance alone getting it and the soda. But if he's doing something he's doing it properly and he texts everyone the time and the place and all but collapses into a beanbag.

When people arrive he'll move. Honest.

I've just always wondered why-- well, why is this such a big thing?

[Don't give him too much credit, it's all thanks to Billy, who couldn't live with two teenage boys who'd never seen Star Wars.. Admittedly, Neil and Todd had a good excuse-- predating it by nearly twenty years-- but he'd seen to their education.

Neil takes the candy with a nod of thanks.]

I mean, it's not that I don't like them but so many people are... A little obsessed?

[Isaac gestures to his outfit, he's wearing a large sweater Stiles.]

No leather tonight.

Well, both, i think. We've known each other longer here, though.

"I can see that."

But he rolls his eyes playfully, "Go eat some candy you freak. Stop being a good guy."

It's because it's so awesome. There are so many cool things to latch on to. Like the light sabers. And the Millennium Falcon. And Darth Vader. It's a geeks dream come true.

[ Who doesn't want to be a Jedi? ]

"More candy? Sounds like a great idea." Because sugar.

The light-saber fighting is interesting, just, everything moves so fast.

[He shrugs it off, not really bothered. Sometimes the future is just strange, to Neil's way of thinking.]

I met the princess once. She came on a Visitors' Day.

[affectioning]

You only sort of knew each other there?

[affectioning]

"Where is there funk? I see no funk." He grins. And then he lunges into his friend's beanbag and gives him a bro hug. "Try not to enjoy this too much."

It was his first year, so we just didn't know each other for very long.

[affectioning]

But you guys got to know each other better and now you're really good friends and you watch each other's backs.

Well, sure.

[He laughs a bit at that.]

I don't know if I've ever put it quite that way, though. Watching each other's backs, but I guess we do? I mean... Other than the curses the City's usually pretty safe. There's not so much to watch out for.

[She will send him the owl just so he can send him back.]

This? Not really. There's a Cushioning Charm you can't see, it's what makes it more comfortable to ride, too. Why, d'you think I'm balancing on nothing?

I don't know, you're the witch. [ Of course he should have probably remembered that, considering he's like mad into Harry Potter. But it's hard to remember when he's talking to the real-life people. ]

I bet you just want to look cool.

"Go away, you're ruining my boner for spaceships."

But Stiles is laughing, patting Scott manfully on the shoulder.

[ Stiles practically screeches that, startling at least a dozen people before looking apologetic. ] Seriously? Seriously - seriously?

[affectioning]

He settles back so they're sharing the bean bag chair.

"Are you sure it's a spaceship boner?"

[Startling Neil, too, honestly, though not so badly.]

That sort of thing happens here, sometimes. People who aren't real in others worlds are just as real in the City. She was nice.

[studmuffin]

"Go get hyper, that's an order."

[hexuality]

[She blushes a bit, shrugging and resting her forehead on folded hands for a heartbeat.]

I just didn't want to be in the way. [Then she lifts her head again, huffing out a mock exasperated sigh.] Then again, I'm short, so maybe I wouldn't be in the way, anyway.

Isaac nods, grinning. "Sure, I'll come find you after the movie."

[studmuffin]

Ha. You're invited, that means you totally can't get in the way. But hey, if you're comfortable then go for it.

I know, I'm just super jealous.

Flipping him off,

"Babe you could have had this but no, I've got something better."

[She smiles briefly.]
