When; First week-ish of October. Wibbly-wobbly.
Rating; G
Characters; Melissa McCall and OPEN
Summary; A general open "At The Hospital Log" for anybody to peruse.
Log;
Scenario 1: Co-Workers
[Melissa has been meaning to get to know her fellow doctors and nurses at the City Hospital, but work always manages to get in the way of social hour. Even now, she's at her nurse's station, filling out her reports and generally keeping her head down. But she'd definitely be open to small talk! Small talk that didn't involve the words "stat" or "cc's" or "defibrillator."]
Scenario 2: Friends and Family
[Even with all the work she does, of course she needs to take breaks to eat, to relax, to take a breath and catch herself. Like mother, like son; a good work ethic seems to run in the McCall family, apparently. But for now, she's perched in the cafeteria, eating her sandwich and scrolling over her network device to occupy her mind.]
Scenario 3: Patients
[In need of medical help? Some good bedside manner? Need a booster shot or some stitches? Nurse McCall to the rescue!]

It's been a while since he last spoke to her and maybe he feels awkward but he doesn't let that stop him. ]
Hey, what's happening in the crazy land of the hospital?

[Now here's a face she wasn't expecting to see.]
Are you okay? What are you doing here? You're not hurt, are you?

[ He shrugs a shoulder, moves his bottle from one hand to the other. ] I was here to see Chase. He kind of helps me out with some things.

Wanna join me for a bit? I feel like I haven't seen you around much recently. That's probably my fault, I've been working so much overtime...

[ He pulls a chair out and takes a seat, his smile crooked but sweet. ] I guess it must be super busy in a City hospital right? All those curses.

Especially considering not a salacious but maybe questioning internet search history earlier. ]
Any more embarrassing searches?
[ Please don't judge him for using the word fuck publicly. Twice. ]

Oh, I hope not. Although I'm glad to see that you're not as, um. Curious as Stiles is about certain topics.

[Because she's a mother. She knows when it's going on, it's an instinct you get when you give birth. Hence why she searched Scott's room once upon a time.]

Three!
By the way?
It's not.
So, Peter ends up walking himself down to the hospital. Most people probably know how to take care of this sort of thing. But Peter, for all his independent, free-spirit schtick... he's always had his mother there. Being on his own here puts him a bit more out of his depth than he'd like to admit.]
Three!
That...does not look good. Come on.
[She picks up a phone, chatters a few pointed codes into it, and immediately is leading Peter into triage.]
Allergies to any medications or latex?
Three!
Nah, just dairy.
[He shrugs his shoulders, seems maybe a little unphased by the blood. He did manage to get most of the glass out, but the blood showed no sign of stopping. His hands are messy with it.]

Have you had any alcohol tonight? Or any medications you're on? Any drugs?
no subject
No medication and no drugs, though.
[Recently anyway, which he thinks is what she means. He sighs, raking his other hand through his hair. He feels kind of like an idiot right about now.]
I kinda punched a mirror. [Before she asks.]

Hi, good afternoon, may I help you?
Scenario 3!
[Which isn't exactly a simple little collection of your standard items.]
I don't know who would carry it in the City, so I thought I'd start here.

Uh. Wow. I'm...not sure we actually sell anything out of our supplies? I could speak with the hospital manager, but I'm pretty sure you'll have to find a wholesaler or retailer.

Mind if I sit here?

Feel free. Clint, right? God, we haven't talked since I got here, sorry about that.
no subject
Yeah, it happens, don't worry about it. [ He's been sulking aruond his apartment around work for the last while, so it's on him more than anything. ] You been settling in okay?
