so this is what it's like to have to practice amiability
When; Uhh I guess probably between here and all that goat bullshit.
Rating; M for Immaturity.
Characters; Loki, Tony, and probably Sif since I can't see her not showing up eventually.
Summary; Loki and Tony offered to trade information. This is where they do.
Log;
[ OKAY SO everybody's chilling out and shit and tony's patience for casually waiting on all of this just sort of goes ping and he finds Loki. ]
We gonna do this or what.

Why Anthony, so forward? I am a Prince- you ought to at least buy me dinner first. Perhaps flowers. I like foxgloves.

And here I was just considering a nice new leather bustier for you instead, to match all your other leathers. Maybe some chaps. You love horses, right? [ He turns to rummage through the cupboard until he finds something to go with the pumpkin scone Loki just put down, and maybe if he's a little defensive then so what screw you. He still wants to do the thing but seriously c'mon it's Loki ] Dinner.

Trying to get me in chaps? Why, Stark, what would my brother say? Though be not afraid of my predilection for large things, I am sure you would be.... adequate.
[He simply arches a brow.] This is your offering? No, no. We must have a discussion about your manner of address in the future, Man of Iron.

For a moment Tony feels like they're actually talking about something altogether different because he's Tony and that's how his mind works on occasion and because they're both deliberately using language that instantly does that, but it's a moment and he doesn't actually think it, he just gets the mental images and then kind of "......" as to what to do with them. ]
Fine. Loki, Lord Sir, where would you like to partake of some fine-ish dining this evening? Would you indeed enjoy dragging this out for banter and idle talk over food either or neither of us is interested in, or woulds't thou prefer to cut to the chase and understanding? Because me, I'm up for either. It's probably time to eat anyway, actually. So. The decision is entirely in your own royal court.

Loki flashes a smile full of teeth that look a bit sharper than those of a human or even of Thor, if one really thinks about it. Tony probably will not. Either way, Loki tips his head, the portrait of innocence and folds his hands together, resting them on the table in front of himself.]
Why, since you have offered in such a manner, it would be terribly rude not to dine with you, Man of Iron. How gracious a manner of address you have and I am a bit peckish.
[He eats more than Thor. You will find this out. You will also come to understand that if you goad him, he will act on it. Because he can.]

Tony feels as though he probably should have expected that coming a little bit more than he did. It wasn't so much that he wasn't expecting it at all, more that he was hoping against hope that Loki's patience in regards to learning fun new things was more along the lines of his own - i.e., very, very ephemeral and then decisive. Apparently - and again, this isn't that surprising - Loki is more than capable of just doing whatever the fuck he wants, even if that whatever occasionally winds up contradicting part of what he does, indeed, want. Tony doesn't even pretend to try and figure out that little nugget of screwed up psyche.
But whatever, okay. He likes food, he's hungry. Food's fine. ]
Any preferences, Princess?

[You know who else likes to eat? This guy. Frost Giant. Be prepared for him to eat more than one could possibly think his lithe frame capable of holding. He can out eat Thor.
And he does tend to trip up over his own wants, especially when they contradict each other and he's finding himself set on a path that seems more fun than the previous one. They shall get to the ends he wants at some point, but first it will involve food.]

Sure, because there wasn't a more disturbing way you could have asked for that. [ But Tony knows what he's intending and it's actually pretty good, so whatever, lets go eat the tiny seafood with faces. ]

And he is good at it.]
