Penny isn't too alarmed by the apocalyptic conditions that have been building since that door Anonymous was so excited about was activated. They haven't had a good world-almost-ending just lately and things have been pretty tense, so they're about due.
What bothers her is the fact that the door is doing something.
But she's coping the way she does best: by ignoring the possibility that the City's going to end or that everyone she cares about will be leaving or that she's going to end her existence sad and alone. Today, that involves baking blueberry muffins. There might even be pizza later. Someone gave her a baking stone for Christmas and it'd be a shame not to use it one more time.
