incomplete;
When; Right now!
Rating; PG to start, I'm guessing...?
Characters; Dark, Wiz, and whoever's willing to help.
Summary; Hiwatari has been wounded, and Daisuke and Dark are attempting to keep him from dying. Dark's taking the initiative to get out into the city and find some help for him.
Log;
Flying over the city was normally relaxing for Dark, but in this case he wasn't doing it for fun or to snatch up another piece of priceless artwork - no, now he was swooping over the cityscape for a sign of someplace or someone, anything at all that he could find that would assist Daisuke and himself in nursing Hiwatari back to health.
There's GOTTA be something, he thought, looking down at the crowds worriedly as Wiz's wings helped him glide. If there isn't, and that kid dies, then... oh god, what would we do then?
His violet eyes cast over the traffic flow, and at yet another simple command, he and Wiz came swooping down into the heart of things, to see if he could get better results.

Re: In Building 9, Apartment 15.
"Someone needs me." Eiko's heart pounded. "I can be of use." It pounded again. Louder and louder her heart raced as Eiko made a mad dash towards the room. "Faster! I need to go F A S T E R!" raced through the young girl's mind. However, her wings screamed and begged to differ; they were not used to such physical abuse and were getting awfully tired and fast. Just as Eiko thought that she couldn't take another step, she arrived at the door.
"Building 9... Apartment 15." trying to grasp a hold of her breath, dainty knuckles pounded on the door. She was finally here.
Re: In Building 9, Apartment 15.
Daisuke's face must have been a bright red by then, his eyes slowly matching that color from all the silent tears.
Re: In Building 9, Apartment 15.
The creature complied, and he whizzed through the air at a dizzying speed, the buildings and people becoming a blur... and almost in a second's time, he found himself outside their door, breathless and flustered as all hell.
"Daisuke -- did you find someone? Was that...?" he gasped as he pushed open the door, eyes immediately focused on Eiko.
Re: In Building 9, Apartment 15.
Grunting a little, Eiko pushed herself off the ground with her arms; once off the ground she slowly made her way towards the red faced boy and then the body that must have been the one she was called here to heal. The small purple head of hair looked up at the crying boy and asked him to make sure he was the right one, not like it mattered, "This....guy....right...?" The poor girl hadn't fully caught her breath.
Re: In Building 9, Apartment 15.
"This will work. He will be okay..." he whispered to himself, hands clasped.

And as his eyes snapped open and mouth opened once again, it could be seen that the pupils of his eyes were dialated in pain.
Re: In Building 9, Apartment 15.
The tune sang a sweet siren's song bringing peace to even the restless of souls. Angels seemed to be born from the song and circle themselves around the winged girl. What a sight it was. The melody continued and dexterous fingers danced along the holes of her flute. With each movement the music seemed to come alive and a bright green light enveloped around the injured being. The sweet melody continued for a moment’s longer before it suddenly came to a halt.
"There. See if he’s any better..."
Re: In Building 9, Apartment 15.
The poor redhead's entire body was shaking, and the tears just kept leaking. It was alright now, right? They would wake up tomorrow and everything would be okay.
"Hiwatari-kun?" he whispered one more time.
Re: In Building 9, Apartment 15.
But it had all came crashing back as if the puase of peace had never happened.
Turning his pale gaze to Daisuke, the pain all to apparent and etched on his features, his hand gripped the arm once more. "...Dai...su..." EVen as he spoke, the light was dying in his eyes.
Re: In Building 9, Apartment 15.
His mouth tried to form the words, but a soft choking sob was heard, promptly muffled as the tears slowly dropped down. He was crying for the both of them; seeing the both of them in so much pain twisted a knife into his heart.
Re: In Building 9, Apartment 15.
The sweetness was all the same, but it was more haunting than angelic. The music continued until a figure began to take shape before the dying boy. ‘There’s no way I’m giving up on you…. Not even if you die on me. Grandpa and Mog would never forgive me if I did… I wouldn’t even forgive myself if I did.’
Re: In Building 9, Apartment 15.
Eyelids drooping still, he had made one last attempt to hold onto him: fingers catching the wrist in one last moment, he tore his dying gaze from the strange entity to see the ruby ones that he come to know and find comfort in seeing. But now... they were glistening with the tears. Tears that were shed over him.
"Don't... cry... because of... me... ...Dai..."
The soft sound of the hand hitting the bed when it had gone limp was all that was heard from him. What life that had remained in his shielded gaze had left, eyelids closing. And from his parted lips came that final breath of air.
"Daisu... ke..."
Re: In Building 9, Apartment 15.
No life in those blue eyes. No life. No anything.
Tears do not even fall.
Daisuke stopped moving, stopped breathing, stopped living.
He was only existing, now. Existing like his friend no longer would.
Re: In Building 9, Apartment 15.
Gritting his teeth, he squeezed his eyes shut and silently cried for the both of them, slumping beside Daisuke so that they'd both have a shoulder to lean on. They were going to need it, after all.
Re: In Building 9, Apartment 15.
"......did he really want to live...or had he given up on life?" Eiko questioned to the two others in the room, her head hung low. "I've got one more spell. A powerful one. It brings back people from the dead, but if he doesn't want to live, then it would be pointless plus it wouldn't work."
She tightened the grip on her flute, her horn flashing an eerie golden light.
Re: In Building 9, Apartment 15.
Looking back at Daisuke, his heart fell even more at seeing him so defeated; with a small gulp, he slowly nodded. "Go ahead."
Re: In Building 9, Apartment 15.
"It's not like the others before this one I'm about to do were baby spells either, both take a great deal out of me..." the small child paused to make sure she just wasn't blowing smoke when she spoke. "So when they both didn't work. I've got to be a little more careful. I hope you understand...."
Re: In Building 9, Apartment 15.
Clutching Daisuke's hand, he simply stared at Hiwatari's lifeless body, the grief totally clouding his mind from everything else in the world at that moment.
Re: In Building 9, Apartment 15.
Closing emerald eyes, Eiko brought the end of her flute to her forehead and muttered, 'Phoenix...lend me your gracious power...' Then swiftly she shifted the played a few notes on her flute before jutting it into the air above her. A fiery circle appeared beneath her and with a flash of fire and feathers the magnificent Phoenix hovered about her. "Bring this one back." Eiko commanded the giant bird.
The Phoenix let out a fierce cry and flapped its wings unleashing all sorts of unknown magic and other sorts of voodoo onto the corpse. Life and color had returned into the once deceased boy’s cheeks, and with that the Phoenix vanished just as mysteriously and flashy as it had appeared. 'Weak. So weak.' Eiko thought. 'I...need a...nap.....' and she collapsed. This world took a much heavier toll on her body and spirit after summoning Eidolons.
